They were standard on the SR as that was a 'fully loaded' model. When I first ordered my S in Feb 2012 the larger wheels were an option. My car was delivered Sept 2012 around the time the SR was announced (and less than what I paid for mine ) -

You must have noticed it just behind the headrests in the roof lining? As above the vertical section is contained within the B pillar.

Journo's etc are full of shit car wise. They seem to be driven buy who buys marketing etc, so Pork, Ferrari etc always win. Much better to listen to views who actually buy the cars rather than those who are wined and dined for praise.

Maybe cable adjustment as suggested. Mine is modified (TVS1900) and has covered more miles than yours, including TD's without issue (MY12 build)

How many miles has the car done? Clutch was a known problem on some early cars but I've not heard of it in a while.

S1 here with 19/20 inch wheels wearing P4S all round. I use 2.4 bar front and 2.6 bar rear.

I agree with all of that. Manufacturers will be up in arms once governments wake up and smell the coffee. The sooner the better I think. Go on flight radar or marine traffic and see the huge volume of oil burning behemoths. Crazy stuff.

I thought Lotus ditched BCA for the PDI as they were feckin' useless? I still think the sales model for the Emira is very poor for such a premium sports product. It was a huge sales step change for Lotus which has been handled very badly.
