  1. That sounds like a bargain to me. I was reckoning on about £1K for the front seats and probably another £500 on teh balance of the "Premium Pack" replacements. This being without he cross stitching.
  2. And if space is tight wind the window down. This creates more room because of the curvature of the glass.
  3. I'd have bid on the red if they'd been listed the other way around, but preferred the yellow and thought they'd probably go for less as well. D'oh I believe Dave the trimmer is around £1k for a pair, so it nudged over the tipping point for me.
  4. Yes, the barge boards do collect crap, the cills still get dirty, but at least they don't get sand blasted from the road. The latter is the main reason I fitted mine (which seems to have started a fashion on S3LOC as my installation thread turned into a group buy).
  5. Paul, These are the pictures I took when you asked for some:
  6. All you need is 2 people who want them and they had us. I've been planning a bit of a retrim for a while, exactly this for the seats, but I also have a spare "premium pack" set of trim to be done in suedetex to match the seat centre.
  7. To answer your question http://www.deroure.com/partinfo.asp?MAK=1&MDL=20&TBL=5575&SMA=0&SMO=0&ST=&SC=0&PBID=229754 But I have seen elsewhere that the ECU will need programming. Believe the wiring may be there. Seriously, congrats on winning - but if you change your mind........
  8. Now I Wish I'd bid on the red ones too! No overkill, but the yellow crest would go nice with blue once the stitching is recoloured.
  9. The mpg figures you quote will be similar to the Evora, but you should get a bit better on the motorway. Mid 30s is easily achieved. Agree with snoopy that using the phone is difficult at higher speeds as the cabin is a bit noisier than you average eurobox, but it's not like holding a conversation with a passenger is an issue. I use mine for work as well, always goes down well. Sport pack is worth having and out of the 3 it will be the one that makes resale very difficult. You won't find many without and if you ever plan to sell my advice would be to stay clear of cars without it.
  10. EFA Ps to all but Tom this is a private joke I'm not being an arse!
  11. There, I fixed that for you
  12. Is that the circular car park in Bris? If so its opposite our office in Whitefriars, often take my Evora there. Ps nice car, one of the top combos when I bought mine.nsaw that car at the TLF meet at brook lands last year. Good to get the plate too
  13. Nope, 10.01 items 8/9. Sorry can't do the screen print bibs.
  14. Assuming this is the front, either clam to bumper, headlight bracket, or the A panel (are you fitting your barge boards?), pretty much all the bolts down there are nuts and bolts, not captive. IIRC, the A panel bolts did tend to stay in place when undoing them, but the other end can be accessed by going on through the wheel arch lining, pull out the foam and access is easy. Will give you a chance to inspect the mudflap brackets! HTH.
  15. Half an hour with some wet and dry and a black spray can will do an equally good job. I actually then carbon wrapped mine. Just checked Deroure and they are £39 each for the black ones and £22 for the silver (but I don't think they are available any More). I'd just spray them up. http://s509.photobucket.com/user/83Excel/media/DSCN2915.jpg.html?sort=3&o=46
  16. Nice write up. 10 year olds are perfectly comfortable in the back. My daughter is coming up on 10 and still has about 3 inches of headroom. She is not short for a girl her age. It starts getting tight at about 5 ft. Forget about the steering wheel getting in the way of the Fuel/time/MPG/Temp/TPMS readings, because even if it wasn't the reflections will prevent you from reading them anyway . As far as tax goes, I'm pretty sure they are all the same, one band below the big jump. The lowest reading is probably the NA IPS (for some reason the IPS lowers the reading, the IPS "S" is in the same lower tax bands as the N/A).
  17. Worth doing tom, my decat and (noisiest 6 inch) 2bular back box is absolutely fine on the motorway. It's also pretty straight forward fitting, happy to give you a hand, I did mine myself. If you want a garage - Back on Track, Jez does mine and (the other) Toms. The lotus sport box is also a 6inch system, so noise wise should be fairly similar to mine.
  18. To be honest, if I had to replace the pre cats I'd go straight to an aftermarket system without them, cool the engine bay and more power to boot. Only thing putting me off doing this anyway is the cost and you'll have that anyway. Pretty sure the clam doesn't need to come off to work on these areas of the engine, so I'd be discussing with the garage for some form of reasonable compromise, after all it is their inability to diagnose that as the issue and quite frankly a knackerred cat/exhaust isn't rocket science. "A banana in the tailpipe".. I'd ask for the price for the necessary work, had they diagnosed it straight away (which you may need to get from someone else) and try and negotiate somewhere between that and their costings.
  19. That's a bugger. Let me know if you want picking up Sunday.
  20. Which bit are you referring to, the corrugated 4cm(ish) filling tube? Had mine out a few time (valves and pump) and not really noticed it as being too bad. That said it's connected by circlips so at £100 I'd be buying some plastic pipe instead.
  21. They mount off the 2 bolts that secure the bottom of the front A panel and a rear bolt in front of the back wheel. The middle is bonded. There are also little prongs that slip under the undertray to support the inside. The bonding and a longer bolt for the rear fitting is included as are instructions. It is 100% reversible unlike the Motorsport ones, which require drilling. Takes about half hour for the first one and 15 mins for the second. It is best then to leave the car for a day or two for the bonding to go off.
  22. Was going to send by email, but he posted this on SELOC, so will just copy and paste: Hi, found this thread and am pleased those of you that bought the boards had No problems fitting. I have another 5 pairs being polyester powder coated in gloss black. If anyone is interested I can do them at £185.00 delivered. E-mail me at, fraser@feukltd.com
