  1. @Gordon S and I managed to get out to Silverstone on Monday, we were blessed with good weather, and I managed to achieve better performance with the new setup. Very happy and for sure the new wing really does make the car can't stop looking at the rear lol
  2. If you’re looking at simply installing side skirts then someone like Back On Track in Guildford could probably help.
  3. YES (Ti actually) but waiting on the end plate countersunks which should arrive next week
  4. End plates came back and I'm absolutely chuffed with the results. The Motorworks did a fantastic job spraying the exterior of the endplates whilst also giving me a nice edging which really makes the wing look OEM+ and less bolt on. Over the weekend I met up with a few fellow folks from TLF as we commissioned a private day at Thruxton skid pan. A great time with friends and learning a bit of car control. Next up vents incoming for the front clam
  5. Thanks @Bravo73 Are you guys just after the ‘straight’ look version I’ve seen on previous Evora’s? Dont discredit the wood versions, it’s easy to think it’s a lot of £££ for just wood but I can tell you the cost of painting to get the right finish is ££££! I do the side sills for the V6 in 6mm plastic which had a decent natural finish that’s close to OEM. Id be open to making up a design for an Evora if there’s enough interest. I’d just need to borrow an Evora for a few hours to make up a template...
  6. Conscious I've been very quite of late... fact is I've just been stacked and trying to get the right balance between family, work work, Alias23 bits, oh and finding a spare slot on track has been pretty difficult. That said the group buy organised for the 380 Cup CF wings are being packed and shipped this week - So we should see some new additions to the Big Wing Gang club very soon! ... and yes weekends have resorted in packing!!!! For the keen eyed, you'll see I've finally managed to sort my own wing game out, the funny story for the last month or two has been I sold my own wing before getting a new one and I've been embarrassingly hiding the car as I really dont like the 'roadster' look especially given the carbon aero diffuser I have at the rear. So happy to report back in the Big Wing Gang. The wing is a bit of a Frankenstein, as you would expect from me, I've not gone down the usual or normal path! I've taken original Lotus 430 Cup uprights which I managed to source with thanks to Deroure, this allowed me to position the new wing an inch higher than my previous for improved downforce. Personally im not a big fan of the angled end plates, so I had some made that take a similar shape and thickness to the ones on the Lotus CupR. I also wanted a cleaner bracket from the wing to the upright so managed to get them mounted actually inside the wing vs bolted on the outside for a cleaner look. All in all I should have just gone with the 380 Cups I sorted on the group buy (which was the original idea) but as always things run away in my head and I start doing lots of custom stuff which turns out to cost double (in this case anyway!). That said I have a wing im very very happy with and is truly custom to me... (until @GFWilliams copies me again)... Also at a recent track day at Donington I can genuinely attest to an improvement in stability and cornering speeds outperforming a number of 430 Cups and 410s on track = One happy chappy. That said I do feel like more power is needed on the straights so I will be spending the next few months looking into options for improving power to get a little closer to 400. Until then, I'm going to bite the bullet and get the 430 Cup vents from @Seriouslylotus installed and at the same time get the front air intake painted satin black as the wrap is looking a bit tatty after two years. So hopefully the next update will be my front clam getting cut up and checking measurements three times to ensure one side isn't lower than the other! Im also looking to improve the travel on my Ohlins which is proving tricker than I had imagined based on the slightly lower ride height I want to achieve. Lastly, in an effort to improve the longevity of the front discs on track im speaking with @danwebster on ideas of how we could get some air ducting going on for cooling the rotors.
  7. I've found 1mm toe out at the front to be have a great effect on turn in on track. At the rear im pretty much neutral on toe, would be interested to hear what you've seen running well on the rear if you mind sharing?
  8. I know of this car... the previous owner to the current, it was in impeccable condition and when it was up for sale in the past I was seriously tempted! If I hadn't recently just purchased a new daily I'd be back into counting pennies to try and make this work!
  9. @Jack how are you running with no cats and no ECU remap? Surely its kicking out errors?
  10. I didn’t think they had packaged a solution good to know. Can’t see any pricing for a total
  11. For me the problem with the out of the box SSC kit is that you retain the manifolds/cats which to me doesn’t support a true end to end system. The 460 KT kit is end to end and for me the outright winner. Unless you can stump up the extra cash for the @Mattmahope setup 😉
  12. Maybe Performance Autocare in Knaresborough
  13. Is the the EliseParts (WinAce) item @Jack happy with the fit and quality?
  14. Recommend giving @Seriouslylotus a call, he's done sooo much testing and research that he's arguably the best to talk to ref Nitrons
  15. I concur with George, Performance Friction are very good and I’ve been using them now since 2015 and found nothing better for fast road and track usage.
  16. Personally I agree with @GFWilliams if you're wanting a major power increase there is no one better than KT. The ALIAS23 intake does what it was designed to do, a simple bolt on, extra throttle response, and that addictive howl of the charger without spending thousands. For sure there is a power increase but I don't market it with any power gaurantees. Maybe in the future there may be a stage two power upgrade from ALIAS23. However right now for sure if you want MORE power then Komo-Tec remains king
  17. @Bibs I now feel a little travel sick watching that video lol
  18. @DMH83 crazy to see how the cars transforming in such a short period of time! I think @MAG may have some competition Congrats Buddy!
  19. @MAG stop copying my anodised bolt obsession!
  20. I've been looking to make a version two of the intake to integrate an air straightener, I want to do this properly with a physical hold in place in addition to just the simple approach of epoxy. Some folks will remember that the pipe work I use is not a size which is 'off the shelf' and therefore the straighteners available online are too small (I tested them from three different suppliers!). So I've taken the step to make my own and today I got a few samples laser cut from scratch to ensure a tight and correct fitment. I'll be looking to have a few prototypes finished to test in the coming two weeks
  21. Appreciate the thought buddy but kinda don’t make or sell anything I don’t believe in myself 😉
