I’ve just noticed 12 replies to this thread (inc. mine), great to see members of TLF can’t be arsed 😅
Just now, Kimbers said:I cannot get even vaguely excited TBH and with the last election getting mid 30%'s voting I'm not the only one.
There is no one Party who even gets close to representing my wants and needs. Sure, if I was at the top of society or the bottom I would but those of us in the Middle (the Majority), with cars and houses, paying our taxes and having 2.4 kids, none of us really have a voice and we pay the majority of the UK taxes!
Time for major reform
Tony, I agree. I was never a supporter of PR, but now, more than ever we need it. I’d like to vote for a party that represents me in their policies and has at least a voice. I have been a life long Tory voter, never, ever again. Wasted 5 years.

They say it’s important to cast a vote. So I’m practicing my best Cock & Balls

I know there have been many threads about close ones passing away too early, but here we are enjoying the Maltese sunshine when a text arrives saying my nephew (48) died in a motorcycle accident in Thailand (he had a Thai girlfriend), the accident was on the 13th and my brother has only been informed yesterday, he’s flying out with my niece to repatriate Adam.

I do believe the climate is changing, and the pace of change has accelerated.
However, we are measuring it in mm's (a couple of decades at best) whereas the climate has undergone gargantuan change over a millennia and more.
We've had periods of warming, and cooling, repeated, for over a million years and each of these events has been measured over 10, 15, 20, even 25,000 thousand years and more.
When we say this is the hottest day ever recorded, what we mean is, this is the hottest day in the last one, or two hundred years. We have no real records before that.
We do need to be more mindful of the environment and the world's climate for sure. We are dirtying and polluting it at a remarkable speed. But that is in part due to the size of the population and the rapid growth of human "civilisation" - given our propensity for waste, we're hardly civilised really.
A cull, it’s the only way!

I just booked tickets for the Saturday of Nick Mason's open garden. The Pub Lotus group on FB are planning to go on the Saturday and I went last year (though missed the big Lotus group as I went on the Sunday!).
It's a busy venue but a nice drive out and a great opportunity to see a load of seriously expensive machinery in Nick Mason's garden and some nice cars in the car park.
Lotus and other sports / super cars are directed to a field next to the house so you don't have to walk far and are in amongst some nice machinery.
Details are here: https://middlewickhouseopengarden.com/
Mark, sorry only only just seen this. That weekend free so may be up for a run.

To pretty much all going on in world and reported (or should I say opinionated) on these days, the voice in my head cannot be published on here. Bibs would ban me!

A bit of research help:
Would appreciate if UK owners of GT430’s please quote their first date of registration the current rate of road tax please. There’s a discussion on FB Evora owners and seems to be a large discrepancy in RFL fee paid.
Only GT430’s please
thanks Danny

They could save a bit and close the London 'Brand' presence. About as viable as the last one!

Once again I find myself ashamed to call myself British. The mindless idiocy of this bloke absolutely makes my blood boil! Absolute Fucktard and I hope he gets the 5 years in jail this could result in!
Colosseum: Man who carved names on ancient Rome amphitheatre is UK tourist, Italian police say.
"Domus" takes the locative, which is...?
Er, "Domum" !
Understand? Now, write it out a hundred times.
Yes sir. Thank you, sir. Hail Caesar, sir.
Hail Caesar ! And if it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your balls off.

now that takes me back. My early career spent as a survey engineer, lots of North Sea and West Africa oil and gas work. This was a basic tool. As the early NAVSTAR (GPS) was limited, it combined the earlier Transit satellite receiver. Took forever to get a fix for final rig location. I’ll dig out some of my earlier pics now. Thanks for posting Bibs!

@mayevora Ian. Sorry to hear, we lost Hektor a few weeks ago now and know how hard it is. ☹️. Make him comfortable and hope the tail keeps wagging.

Isn't rhubarb poisonous? I cook it in a non-stick pan so it's easier to slide into the bin when done, god awful stuff!
Noooo..... Rhubarb is amazing, I love it. Forced is so sweet at the mo. I love it cold for brekkie with yoghurt and granola.

We have the same problem here with kids and knives. I wonder when parents will start to do something to limit the availability of knives to their kids..... Or at least bother to look up from their phones and tablets to understand where their kids are and what they are doing..... Fat chance of that for sure.
Maybe Khan and Biden should run a score card!

That steak looks well nuked to me 🤔
Was it BBQ'd?
It was seared in a skillet then indirect charcoal heat , 58 degs when rested, so nice crust and then rare to medium.

The Greens are fielding candidates in every constituency across the uk. Hundreds of them popping up on my Twitter feed, but fu*k me, collectively it looks like an episode of Fraggle Rock! We’re doomed I’ll tell thee! Doomed!
