  1. I went looking for a forum after purchasing the Evora. Had a look at Seloc but settled on TLF as a better place for me. Had and still have fun on Alfaowner even though I no longer have an Alfa. A good forum adds to the enjoyment of the brand.
  2. Me in the Evora. Met the Elise coming up the M4 out of Bristol and we just tagged down the M4.

    Ale

Went to the Bristol beer festival last weekend. New Bristol Brewery Super Deluxe Stout was astonishing. Big vanilla up front with long coffee middle and just a hint of caramel at the end. So good I just had to keep drinking it. http://www.newbristolbrewery.co.uk/beers/4579590180
  4. That looks a lot of fun and performance for the money.
  5. Just had a look at the settings on mine. I remember when I got it I thought the sub was not working and had tried a few things. Anyway. In the sound settings turn the sub to ON. Turn up the sub level (mine is at 8 or 9). The key for me was that even though there are no rear speakers I faded the sound 2 to 3 points to the rear. This for me balances the sound more and enables a little more base. Hope it all works out.
  6. Been mulling this over and would need to see it in the flesh. As others have said I think the back is a little too fussy and it loses the flowing lines. Performance sounds good and of course I hope they sell lots of them.
  7. I found mine a little odd. Turning on or off the sub in the menu did nothing. I think I had to fade the sound to the back a little and turn the base up a bit. All working fine after that. Was certainly not intuitive. I'm wondering if the sub is wired into the normal speaker outputs and not the sub output.
  8. Congratulations Budsy and Mrs Budsy. One too many for a 2 + 2. Littlest in the boot it is then.
  9. Try these although they are more expensive than Lotus at £44. http://valveandbalance.com/3148-2010-
  10. No. My reception is fine. Never an issue. This is with the later Alpine head unit (the one after the Pioneer not before). Those with issues could try replacing the antenna with an active antenna. I had a cheap dash top DAB with window stick on active antenna which had good reception. BTW. You don't want a farady cage. That blocks out radio signals. Carbon fibre is especially good for this.
  11. Maybe. But just because we have heard it before does not mean everybody has. Looks like the PR department are trying to keep the Lotus name in the news in the run up to Geneva. Every car manufacturer will be shouting during that show an Lotus would likely get drowned out. Get in the minds early and you may get some follow up interest.
  12. Bit of a myth about Scots not cheering England. I do except if they are playing another celtic nation.
  13. Tight first half ending with a try for Scotland right on HT. Will be an intersting 2nd half.
  14. Thanks for that. Wasn't the valve. Had a nail on the the inside near the edge. Not repairable. Grrr.
  15. I doubt it. Not visible from front or behind plus do not have the letters GB. Link to number plate stickers. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Number-Self-adhesive-Stickers-European-decals/dp/B00C1RDOVC
  16. You can buy stickers for the reg plates then just take them off when you return to keep your plates clean.
  17. Nice. How long do you have to wait until you collect?
  18. Seems rude not to pop mine in here as I have just posted them in the "show me yours thread".
  19. I know. Spent more time hanging out on the Alfa forum. Thanks Bibs. Have posted some bad pics. Not good light and not a good camera. I'll try to get some better ones. I wanted the carbon grey SR just offset with splashes of red (brake calipers and interior).
  20. Need to get some better ones. Only ones I have at the moment were in really bad light taken with a phone.
  21. If anyone is still looking I think this may be the correct service pack. £2.40. http://valveandbalance.com/3148-2010-
