it was before this magazine tbf - probably since I was about 15. In 1994 I saw the St Tropez that’s now in the garage and lusted madly. In 1996 I had the money to buy and esprit and looked at an S1, an Essex and one of those fibreglass fezza 308s that used to be sneered upon. I bought a house instead. So that kinda explains my now mental illness and owning a few along the way.

Turbo arrived this morning - luckily the UPS driver rang me as TT had used the farm address they had on file 🤪 - the gate was locked at the end of the drive so he called - that was lucky 🤣
anyway - it’s a thing of beauty - how’s this for a transition @Escape

The video I have of the whole incident frankly isn’t great. I’m glad I wasn’t in the van at the time tbh.
it is a joke - the police are a complete shower

And she’s been bailed again pending cps review/decision.
its an utter joke

Hmmmm ok - so last night police told me to attend the outbuildings with a third party and video what might or might not be missing. She was bailed so isn’t allowed near me - that’s their advice.
i videos the visit with Nobby. Within 5 minutes of arriving she’s royally kicked off. Crashed her van into my car and done a vanishing act.
Police called. She’s now been arrested again for breach of bail and criminal damage.

@Dave Eds trouble is I’d like to think so - the reality is likely to be very different. I am still picking up the pieces with the kids. They have all stopped contact with her but that takes its toll differently on them. The eldest was messaged by her a couple of days ago and it has had a very negative impact upon her even though she doesn’t wish to communicate with her mum.
As a dad there’s little I can do and it hurts to see this. There are legal routes that are there - but that involves even more stress for the young ones to take.

Just had a call from the police domestic abuse folks. She was arrested this morning and bailed with conditions this afternoon. One day this will all be over.

Couldn’t have said it better myself @red vtec

Now that is seriously cool

Frankly the tories should have slashed tax for low earners and hiked up the tax free allowance to something like £30k - then just left the Labour Party to properly screw everyone over next budget as soon as they steal power.

This is exactly what is wrong with our political system. These clowns need to stop playing and start working.

So I’ve done some more over the last week.
Throttle and choke cables fitted, rad packs on and plumbed up, fan pack wired, brakes bled, clutch bled, lower front valance fitted, boot floor rivnuts installed, new front upper ball joint's. She is indeed eeking closer to starting. My pile of parts is becoming ever smaller.

That is an absolute peach of a car and the best colour ever. Didn’t it have JPS gold flashes at one point ?

Is everyone else facing the same slow charging rates on their Electre on a 7kWH charger and how many miles are people getting per hour on a 7kWH
You folks need to stop looking at the mph charge rate - that’s a software thing on the car - not the real world. You need to see what kW in being consumed by the car - that’s the charge rate.

I know folks whom have paintings that are worth more hanging on walls of their houses. Why not have such an iconic vehicle to look at.
a friend of mine has a bloody motorbike on his cinema wall as a feature

And Rishi thought it necessary to stand outside no 10 and moan about democracy. Our politicians are frankly vile

Wayleaves have payments attached - easements tend to be “ permanent” and someone has taken the increased one time payment. We got £18k for a permanent easement rather than £100 a year

Yesterday I managed a couple of hours down the shed. More bits bolted back on.
the worst was the near side rear brake caliper which was the wrong side of the chassis after the lump was dropped in. So had to remove to put the right side. I’ll have to bleed that again now 🤪
some water pipes Installed, engine mounts bolted up, gearbox mounts replaced, rear deck hinges fettled and measured as I’ve no idea how they fitted.
had a phone call from the rad shop to tell me that’s ready for collection Monday 🥳

It’s a joke. I’ve had one thing after another with the police. It goes to a Marac next week so let’s see if that changes anything.

Radiator dropped to be recored yesterday. Sadly the place I used in Hereford has now gone so it had to go to Redditch.
All the engine bay pipes and clips were fitted yesterday. Today the manflu is still bad so I sacked off work when I went in to find the place crawling with painters and decorators and thought I’d get in the garage for an hour or so.
Engine wheeled out
and that’s it for now - engine is back insitu. Loads to do - but that’s enough for today.

For a run of the mill car yes but for cars like Lotus and cars being resold, they usually average 5-6K a year. The highest 400 milesage currently on sale is 33K. You only have to look at the classifieds.
It is a run of the mill car chap - it’s not like your old v8 engine - the Evora engine is something used in taxis all over the Middle East and thrashed to half a million miles. Just make sure it’s reflected in the price.
