  1. I have just fitted one way adjustable introns too and know exactly what you mean about the bang in front end going over pot holes. It sounds similar to the stock suspension bottoming out. I notice it more when going over things like motorway bridges where the sections meet. Sounds like a sharp thud. Strangely when out on country lanes I have no problems it only seem to be over the very sharp “pot hole” type compressions. I thoroughly checked mine yesterday and nothing is catching and there is no metal on metal anywhere I just put it down to the solid mounts rather than rubber bushes. Overall though I’m very happy with suspension.
  2. You removed the metal baffles on the diffuser around the exhaust tip?
  3. Yes. Not regularly but 1 or 2 a year. Had 2bular exhaust on about 3 years and run the add on silencers for quiet days. No probs ever. Did you get your car mapped for the decat? out of curiosity why did you go for valved exhaust in first place. Jim is very vocal about not liking valves in track systems and hence the reason track system exists. Did your 380 have the metal baffles on the diffuser as others had them melting with stock setup
  4. I’m sorry to hear about your car but I’ve dealt with Jim for years and have nothing bad to say about him. I cant fault his build quality either in my experience
  5. Sweet thanks. Was hoping someone would say just that. Was scared to try it though 👍
  6. I’ve no idea how to undo the clam bolts so was hoping to try and avoid doing that but will if I can’t figure out a better way. Not sure how it would get there if it wasn’t through driving.
  7. I have a small stone stuck between two of the panels on my car and can’t figure out how to get it out without damaging something. I have tried flicking it with a wooden toothpick but no joy. Anyone else had this prob?
  8. Correct me if I’m wrong but the shower cap is designed to be put over a roof. If it’s rains heavily the weight of the water will pool and cause it to collapse I would imagine. Just buy a second hand soft top. If you keep it in good condition you will be able to sell in future and get all your money back. Plus I’m sure you will fins with proper roof in boot you will risk using car a lot more topless
  9. – Extracts of this article have been transcribed from a Japanese article featured in Revspeed Magazine, August 1999 That article is 20 years old. I don’t understand why is says the HKS is wet either.
  10. I have the quilted leather in my coupe. It’s not heated though 😳
  11. Thats odd that you found that. i noticed a very significant change in sound (for the better) even with windows up.
  12. I have had one fitted for a couple of years with no issues and i noticed a definite improvement in throttle response. I change the filter every couple of thousand miles and have had no issues. Anyone running the TVS1900 setup will also have this setup and that superchargre will be sucking harder than the stock one. i may be wrong but i believe all the Cup Rs have that filter too. The sound is very similar to the supercharged 1.8 unit found in the older exiges and i think it sounds fantastic.
  13. Need to spin the front wheel at same time to get accurate result from what I read elsewhere. An email to hangar 111 is probably your best bet 👍
  14. Agreed! Well done man. Cracking car
  15. Congrats. Awesome looking car. In my opinion the 380 is the best looking V6 Engined Exige to date :)
  16. I hit a pheasant. luckily it only damaged the splitter so easy enough swap.
  17. Its a shame you cant get inserts like they do for the 1.8 toyota engines. i did them on my S2 exige and was great mod. only £80 and fitting (front and rear only) was easy
  18. Only one sensible solution... sequential gearbox 🤗
  19. Yes its fine. The ferry from Rotterdam is a much nicer ferry though and it sets off later and gets in earlier so I always try to book that one. it normally makes not much difference to travel to there from within Europe either :)
