  1. I think it's about £3k all in. 30 hours labour the killer. If mine ever goes il go for the uprated clutch and flywheel from KT and get them to fit it.
  2. I believe it also can sound like a slight graunch when releasing clutch and my friends was also second gear on both his evoras.
  3. I believe a lot of people experience similar issue and it's down to the clutch release bearing. Indeed my friends previous Evora and new Evora 400 both did it from now, it never caused anything other than annoyance in the 3 years he has his old one.
  4. Agree with Imran.Definitely a DIY job I took the opportunity to give the underside of the front clam a good polish and wax while splitter was off too as its quite hard to get the buffer in there normally
  5. I hit a pheasant and needed a replacement splitter. Cost me less than £300 from JCT (mention forum for 10% discount.... not sure if it was this forum or one of others). I didn't need the metal bit so transferred that. I can't see why you would need anything else. Once the metal bit is off I'm sure you can persuade it back into shapw with a hammer too
  6. The VX roof I had was extremely tight even before the side bits were snapped into place. I didn't expect it not to fit and had already spent a good few hours cleaning it and re-sealing it before even attempting to fit to the car.. maybe I was just unlucky..
  7. I bought a vx220 one for my v6 and it didn't fit. Not sure if there was something wrong with that particular roof or they are all like that but be careful/avoid VX ones
  8. Either eBay or various forums for a second hand one I think. Its surprising after all these years nobody has copied the design and started selling them off at a discount mind
  9. There isn't something stuck in it is there. Leaf, stones, part of an animal?
  10. I had it on my S2. Came and went over the years. I'd be inclined to see if it goes away on its own
  11. £40 ain't bad. JCT wanted £108 from me Ps. I know what you mean about the blip. I have wondered whether ecu has decided your driving sedate for a while it lessens the aggressiveness of a blip whereas if your on it for a time it sharpens it up as it does seem completely random to the input sometimes. Still better than an autoblip though
  12. Others have had the same issue occur as a one off and then been ok. Others have required a wheel sensor or brake pedal sensor I think. Either way lotus will sort for you under warranty.
  13. Same here... and its lighter, and sounds miles better and looks better. One of the benefits of 2bular manifold is that it also moves the O2 sensors to a cooler part of engine.......no I don't work for 2bular
  14. Valve shut one open less of time?
  15. I have no idea. It's just with you trying everything else I wondered ha ha. I also note you haven't tried the Trofeos. I'm sure you will get round to it fairly soon the rate you get through tyres. I'm still on my original fronts after 3 years and 16k
  16. Any reason you haven't tried the Avon ZZR please?
  17. That switch is so 2 weeks ago.... definitely makes yours car look like £30000 less than the latest model
  18. I dread to think how much that will be as an aftersales..... £5k?
  19. Or..... just turn the tow strap into an oversized key ring
  20. I guess that puts an end to the "how big of a wing can you mount on the boot and not onto chassis" debate
  21. Mine is a 2014 car so potentially a 3 year old version now. I was told they could do it for "one hours labour" so £90/hour to get the £108? I think I want it doing though so will probably just bite the bullet. probably more a case of FOMO than anything else
  22. Does that mean the exhaust tone change people experience will be short lived Dave and that its merely the learning process? I have been quoted £108 from dealer I bought car from to have it installed on my car as I had it serviced at a lotus specialist and not main dealers. It sounds like Brent has noted a step change before and after and sounds like he has done a fair few miles now.. Do you get any details Dave as to what they change with these updates?
