  1. Not soon enough Sorry Tony, I find it extremely hard to be able to offer any sympathy. It was always going to happen The govt should back peddle, rightly so, on the notion that it has previously conceded being that EVs are emission free. We just need the greens and the climate terrorists to understand the real situation now
  2. They are very good at slagging the Tories off in their school playground ideology rather then contributing effectively to debates. I know I often comment on their front bench being led by Basil Brush and his Barbie doll but I think that’s defamatory to both Basil Brush and Barbie since I’m sure that they could be more effective than their pseudo doubles.

2 weeks ago MV was complaining that people don’t give him the respect that (he believes) he deserves. Now he should realise why! A petulant child who only thinks of himself and strives to get even when he believes he has been crossed. Hopefully he will disappear in to oblivion just like his father before him🙏

After Verstappen’s admission that he knew he would crash in to Hamilton the FIA should give him at least a 3 race ban at the start of next season for “wilful dangerous driving”

What an absolutely self centred arrogant tw@t this guy is. This happened towards the end of the race when it was clear that Perez was quicker and the Tw@t was unable to get past Alonso 'I gave my reasons and I stand by it' - Verstappen This is what Max Verstappen said over the team radio when asked by his engineer to let Sergio Perez go through: "I told you already last time, you guys don't ask that again to me, OK? Are we clear about that? I gave my reasons and I stand by it." Back to the Red Bull radio messages and while the team were very apologetic to Sergio Perez after Max Verstappen refused to let him through, the Mexican signed off with, "it shows who he really is." The cameras have spotted team boss Christian Horner having words with the two-time world champion.

Great weekend for GR👍Well done Have to mention Vercrashen though, when he ran in to Hamilton he was straight on the radio complaining that LH hadn’t left him enough room, which translates into “I am the mighty Max, move over.” At least the stewards didn’t fall for it this time
  7. Early attempt at ECU programming
  8. @Timbotucker Something to bear in mind, when buying from a Lotus dealer, if the car is Lotus approved, you should also get a 12 month warranty. If they are so far away why not ask them to have a video call with you and show you around the things you request?
  9. and people pay a fortune for all of those holes 🙄 No doubt pricing depends on volume of missing material🤔

Anybody else think that Horner is becoming/has become a liability for RB. Time to get rid for the sake of RB’s future integrity. In this interview for the word “people” read “I” https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/formula1/63434644

Any truth in the rumour that the FIA have changed their name to the Federation of Incompetent Ar§eholes?

Totally absurd penalty😠 Quote “the punishment comes after Red Bull admitted they were at fault” Interpret “admitted they were at fault” as “admitted they were cheats.” Horner’s many & continued (up to 3 days ago) denials and his threats to sue those who have claimed that RB had broken the budget cap should now come back and bite him firmly on the @rse. Time to turn the tables Mercedes and Ferrari and sue Little Jack for his slanderous reactions to their very truthful claims. All we can take from this is that the FIA are bigger disgrace than RB😠
  13. @C8RKHor worse still spill the claret 🍷 That would be terrible, it will leave a stain on your new decking😅
  14. Top tip - be extra careful when walking on the framework (2” thickness I assume) and don’t get too exited when that final fixing goes in. I did mine back in June (spans a 4’ deep unused pebbled ditch), just put that final fixing in when I stood up, lost my footing on the frame hitch resulted in a broken left foot.😟. Found out that bones don’t heal very quickly for us poor pensioners 🙄
  15. @C8RKHi was waiting for either Barry to respond or someone else first so that you lose that net with yourself😛, although I was trying to work out if you was calling me idle and a sponger or not🥊 Well I am able to work but can’t be arsed so I am sponging off my works and state pensions but unfortunately still have to pay taxes😉. I get your point with the lazy tw@ts of today who are happy to draw their benefits whilst protesting about their morning cuppa being too cold, but I am one of the “entitled” ones, entitled to do faff all after decades of hard work and long hours😜
  16. Fantastic to finally seeing someone sensible arriving at No10
  17. Exactly Andy, they are no longer protesters they are vandals, criminals and masters of anti- social behaviour which, if I’m not mistaken are all criminal offences punishable by law in this country. They talk about their human rights but they don’t have a human right that states that they can disrupt and take away the human rights of others by preventing the general public going about their daily business. Once the “just stop oil protesters” group is formed let’s just see which group our spineless police pick upon to arrest and our useless courts and judges decide to throw the book at.
  18. Well well, Scary Face (LT) has finally gone so Basil Brush (KS) and the Fish (NS) want an election, now that’s a surprise 🙄 After I stated last week that Basil gave a decent speech & warning to Labour MPs not to fcuk up the opportunity the party had been presented with, he has shown his leadership class by trying to fcuk it up himself. Always banging on about the same subject “let’s have a GE” & he accuses the Tories of having nothing new. Does he really believe that a Labour Govt with him as PM will calm the World’s markets & stabilise the UKs economy. A guy who has never offered anything other than constant schoolboy criticism As for the Fish, well words fail me, another one who can only continually beat the same drum.
  19. @Frickin_idiotwhilst I agree with a great deal of what you mentioned in you post, let’s not forget the pressure that Covid put on the economy, not just the direst costs of the vaccine and furlough payments (which incidentally the “reds” across the table thought were pityfull) but the indirect costs to the economy afterwards when people decided that they enjoyed being furloughed so much that they didn’t want to go back to work. One thing I am sure of, no PM in the past, present or future would ever want to deal with what suddenly landed in Boris’ lap. God help us if it had landed in Corbyn’s lap.

    Bye Scotland!

Ah, so they are all off to the promised land with the deluded Messiah. She is guilty of political evangelism, the gospel according to Nic!
  21. Try obtaining a new quote as an alias. DL appear not to understand the loyalty concept where they are not supposed to charge more for renewals than for a quote for new business. I did this with the wife’s car insurance, the quote was considerably less and once called & told about this they could magically reduce the renewal to that figure. DL also appear to try it on with auto renewals. My wife said no to auto renewal 3 years ago and they always say on the renewal notice that it will renew automatically unless they get a call otherwise. She always calls to say she has not agreed to auto renewal but clearly they take no notice, so this time she said “I will consider renewing after I receive an email from you confirming that auto renewal does not apply to my policy.” She now has evidence that the policy is not on auto renewal. Why did she stick with DL, because they were still the cheapest by quite a margin. She just accepts that she has to “play the game” every 12 months

    Bye Scotland!

Just taking in points from the Fish’s speech, still swimming in cloudy waters & dreaming of SturgeonLand. It would seem that SturgeonLand being a member of the EU is a pure formality and that Scotland is better prepared for independence than it was in 2014, although she conveniently doesn’t say how 🤔 She says she has loads of detail & will take journalists questions later. Please let there be a decent journalist amongst you, not just reporters, and ask her to reveal details of her fully costed 10 & 20 year vision for a viable independent Scotland. She surely can’t be flying blind in her quest to get votes, in the same way that she has recently accused Truss of 🙄
  23. I would like to have seen him reverse the removal of the cap on bankers bonuses. Not doing so gives the overriding impression that the rich are still being supported when the general rank & file of the working public have to suffer from the remainder of the reversals and still gives the high street banks the benefit of increased windfall profits by keeping, or increasing, the ever widening disparity between BOE interest rates, mortgage rates & savings rates
  24. Along with no reporting of the incident by the media
