  1. It might just be possible Lotus left out the rear seats in the Emira so they would have the room to shoehorn a larger motor.

Congratulations to England, really enjoyed watching this match. I was very surprised at the vitriol and level of dirty play by the Colombians. I also heard that Harry Kane was confronted in the tunnel by one of the Colombian coaching staff
  3. Could be a batch of bad gas, but get someone to hear if the pump is running. Also, don’t know how many miles you have but could be clogged fuel filter. As with any troubleshooting always start with the simplest solution first. Good luck Carl
  4. I did enjoy yesterday's Formula 1 race in Malaysia. The Sepang Circuit is wide enough to allow passing and I'll admit I'm a fan of 20 year old Max Verstappen. I really hope that a deal can be worked out to bring F1 back to Malaysia in the future. The only thing that bothered me was the post race lap where Vettel and Stroll collided. It looked to me that Vettel, trailing Stroll, had wandered too far left and was at fault because Stroll was about as far over to the left as possible and would have had to put his car on the grass to avoid the collision. I only saw one camera angle on the incident. Has anyone seen other footage showing what happened as I'd be very interested in another opinion.
  5. Hi Charles, Check out www.simplysportscars.com They have a lightweight straight pipe muffler exhaust for the Evora that saves 13.2kg. I don't know about any power gains and I have no experience with this system. It looks like a quality product and there a favorable exchange rate AUD$/USD
  6. Finally got my Evora back yesterday, Dec. 20th for a wiring harness replacement and my car is running great. Want to give a shout out to Lotus of Denver, Colorado for taking such good care of me. Many thanks to their Lotus tech Ryan Chapman, no relations, for his all his expertise and dedication. Lastly, thank you to Lotus for all their support, reaffirming why I have been a fan for most of my life.
  7. I was just informed my 2014 6spd Evora S is going to need a new wiring harness. The car ran great for one year and then out of the blue it went into limp mode this past Sunday Nov. 6th. Brought it to Lotus of Denver and they contacted Lotus after running a diagnostic on the car and Lotus very quickly approved the new harness. Thank you Lotus for standing behind your customers. I will tell everyone I know, as well as social media, how well I was treated by Lotus Cars Grateful in Colorado, USA
  8. Received mine yesterday and in perfect condition. A big thank you for all your efforts Bibs Carl
  9. I wanted to sign the petition but it's only open to UK citizens. Always willing to help out fellow enthusiasts. There is a ton of empirical evidence to support the 85 percentile rule. Carl 2014 Red Evora S 2+ 0 w/ Blackpack
  10. I think this is a great idea, especially if it is along the lines of EVO magazine with Lotus only content. I would be most interested in a magazine like this albeit with less focus on the female form and more on the form of the Lotus cars themselves Best of luck Bibs in this endeavor, and I look forward to the first issue
  11. I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. I called my dealer and they told me to make sure the gas cap is tight and then take it out for a drive. I drove car for about 10 miles came home and shut car off. When I restarted car the MIL went out. Only drive car if MIL is NOT flashing
  12. Hey Chris, You have a very nice looking brake kit at an excellent price. I would have been very interested, but I already have a Wilwood big brake kit installed on my 89 SE. In fact it was Travis, aka Vulcan Grey, that installed it for me. I purchased it from Claudius of PBC in California. That was about 7 years ago and since then I've done a half dozen track days and many incidents of "spirited" street driving. In a nutshell, I could not be happier it was one of the best mods I've made to my car which I still have to this day. I'm sure your brake kit will be more than adequate for your application. Best of luck and keep up the good work. Carl 89 SE calypso red 91 m100 pacific blue
  13. I've been using the red stuff from Toyota for years and I'm satisfied with it. However, like Vulcan Grey said, its very important to do a complete flush when changing to a different of antifreeze.
