I have my first service scheduled for Friday and then the first trackday Saturday thereafter. ;-) I will let you know what I think of the breaks afterwards...

Whats wrong with the brakes? Pedal feel or stopping power? fade? street use or track? I am ok with the standard brakes on mine actually, so far - I think they are actually pretty good... but my first track day has yet to come...

Very much appreciated ;-) I will give it a try ... and also reconsider my GoPro mounting points. Behind the mirror and under the front air intake should work with my Exige as well ... I am not very happy with the suction cup at the rear / engine comptmt window ...

Hi Bruce, its probably your Elise crying about the new Italian neighbor with the deep, loud voice ;-) I am sure once she gets to know him further, she will fall in love with him ;-) By the way - I do not blame you for leaving the Lotus fold with your choice of the Maseratti over the Evora Roadster (that not even is available in the US) ;-) ... the oposite is the case, I have to command you for your choice of the Exige Cup R and the Elise ... I lived in the US 8 years and I might have seen 2-3 Elise ... max... Cheers Norbert

Hey hey ... the X6M is my wifes car ;-) ... I hope she is not in the drug business... and if she is, I wonder why she then spends all my money ;-) Serious... I know its a polarizing car ... but I still like it for its design as well as for what it is capable of ...

Congrats!!! A friend of mine has the same in black ... 4 seats, great look ... epic sound (in my opinion, one of the best sounding cars currently beeing made)... but it could be a bit faster ;-) ... even my X6M outperforms it ... at least up to 3 digit speeds ... ;-) ...

My take is that money spent on advertising has a lot of influence on "results"... of course no journo will ever admit this ... but in the end the advertising money significantly contributes to pay the bills... and Porsche does a lot of advertising in car mags... I have never seen a Lotus ad in a car mag ... Couldn't agree more on the general comment on Porsches appeal... a Cayman and even though a regular 911 is too uneventful and ordinary for me ... some time ago I had a couple of hours on the Porsche test track in Leipzig, being able to drive various models (no GT3 or GT3 RS) at the limit. And while some of them are seriously capable of very fast track times, I just didn't have the fun I have in my Exige ... the 911s just were too easy and uneventful too drive... nothing for me...

You should commercialize this and make it a really sophisticated dash alternative for Lotus ;-)

Interesing prices in Turkey... didnt know that cars a so expensive there... is this a luxury tax only on certain high power cars or a general tax if you buy a new car? Crazy track days in Turkey...

Just looked at the 2bular Website... they strongly discourage track use ... too much stress on a closed valve?!? Though this doesnt really look like a track alternative... I am curious anway on the Video... cant wait to hear the difference ;-)

Jay, you should really take an Exige for a spin ... you will be suprised ... this is the one that after you have driven it you buy it right away ;-) Pits: the cage is what I miss in my Exige CR ... do you have any idea how much it is to retro fit that? Cheers Norbert

Couldnt agree more ... its always fun to see how many kids point at your Lotus when you drive by ... didnt get that in a 911 ...

Agree ;-) ... I usually avoid Autobahns as much as I can ... but if ... a couple of mls full throttle are supposed to open your engine up ;-) ...

Nice job!!! Finally someone who drives the Evora as its meant to be driven ;-) Almost the same route I took on my business trip last week with my Exige ;-)
