Hey - everyone should go with what he feels most comfortable with and trusts. In the end what matters is that you are happy with the result. I am very happy with the EX460 and I am pretty sure it delivers the hp thats claimed - no reason for me not to trust the KT dyno results. You are not the first one though complaining about their customer service on first contact or if you are not a customer already ...

The sequential gearbox to me looks like it has a very very short ratio but that certainly could be changed. I guess its 20k EUR or more and has to be refurbished frequently ... not really an option I would consider unless I intend to go racing with my Exige. I more reasonable option could be the VW/Audi DKG that KT wanted to fit in the Exige but never had the time to but thats also a route I personally would only go if my manual gearbox can not sustainably cope with the power of the EX460 (even with upgrades) ...

Hey @GFWilliams - I was first ... mine dash is currently at the trimmer ... will be dark grey alcantara left to right ... really looking foward to it - the plastic look always felt a bit cheap tbh ....

Interesting to compare - same driver, same track 360 Cup and 675 LT. The Driver is Peter Söderberg: 675 LT did 2:20.5 (on Ascari - there is Portimao in the Video as well) Lotus 360 Cup 2:28.07:

Not sure what dyno they use ... the KomoTec Dyno is an official VLN (a well known race series on the NOS) dyno and delivers pretty believable results ... my EX460 wouldnt be able to keep up with a GT3 or a 458 Speciale on the Autobahn if the power wouldnt be anywhere close ?

I must agree ... its not that easy to scratch - I have the satin carbon sills ...

Sounds like we all have good taste... thats why we all race an Exige ???

I am also much more in favour of satin ... the glossy stuff bounces back a lot of light and looks rather cheap imho

Absolutely ... I have been on track some time ago with a guy that had an 400+ hp Audi engine in his Elise ... the case was not driveable anymore ... a waste of money ....

If I would flip it right away, yes, maybe, the problem is in that case, that I tend to keep cars ...

I had this on mine as well ... it opened at 240 kph on the Autobahn and then the air drift pulled it up by a couple of inches ... was a slight surprise ... in the end an easy fix ... you should ask thel to change the holding bolt and holder - that did the job - the first time around they were just „playing around“ and it opend again ...

98% no manual ... just PDK but will have to wait for Geneva the dealers do not even know Spec, pricing etc ...

The RS was very difficult to get thats why I went for it... the allocation for most dealerships for 2018 (and the car will only be built in 2018) was only a little higher than what they got in GT2 RS ... (5 vs 6 e.g. in one case for example...) You never know if there will be more later on in the year but its worth it ;-) ... might be a keeper as well if it is the last N/A RS ...

Hi Nick, welcome! Great decision to go for a Exige in addition to the 650 S! I am always torn between the McLaren and Porsche ... just ordered a 991.2 GT3 RS now in addition to my Exige ... I might be there if the weather is good! I know the organizers very well... Do you live in the North of Düsseldorf? Cheers Norbert

Jokke: believe it or not ... just got confirmation for a 991.2 GT3 RS that I pre ordered some time ago ... will also keep my Exige, no question. The RS will be driven in parallel but probably not much on track ... the Exige is my track toy and its there to stay ?
