  1. Hi Nik, I am from Düsseldorf as well ... I have been frequently at the Bilster Berg ... you might have seen me there. Matt black Exige ... 1:55 is were I am with the EX460 on Michelins ... if I look at my data another 2s faster should be doable on Trofeos... my best with the V6 CR stock already was a 1:57 on Trofeos... anything below 2 min is pretty fast there imho ... ? ... its a pretty challenging track ... crazy to see that I was proud of a 2:05 a little more than a year ago and now I am unhappy with not having driven below 1:55 ... Re noise: my exhaust is stock and its close to the limit ... yes, the Exige is loud ? ... I got black flagged / warned there in the past but it usually works but it also depends on the event you go to as you probably know. Worst case you can short shift or lift ... Let me know if you have questions also happy to share data if you run AIM as well and if you share yours ?... Cheers Norbert
  2. The 430 Cup has all you need now out of the box ... maybe aside from the AIM display that I love ... no need to modify ? ... the CR had too much potential left for me to not modify it ?

  6. The GT3 is a great car no question ... when I bought my Lotus a couple years ago for me it also was between a 991 GT3 and the Exige V6 with potential modification later one. I test drove both and the decision was clear. A standard V6 CR was at least as much fun to drive as the GT3 but pretty much half the price and much lower maintenance cost later on (considering that I wanted to do a lot of track) ... never had any regrets ... in fact the Exige is much more exotic at any regular track day you go to ... everyone has a GT3 ... the few that know drive a Lotus ? Meanwhile 30k EUR later I have an EX460 with all the bells and whistles ... still relatively low maintenance costs but in capable hands on par to a 991 GT3 ... Dont get me wrong, I have a Porsche as well amongst the cars I drive (thats why I can tell you about maintenance costs) and I really like the GT3 (in particular the RS) but in your shoes I would go for the Exige again (the Cup 430 is the one that I probably would have bought if it would already have been out) in a heartbeat. Believe my it will be the best decision in your life ... Btw: a 599 is boring to drive compared to my EX460 imho if you are looking for „racecar“ feeling ...
  7. We had a long discussion on the Sport Auto Nordschleife Laptime... this clearly is a missed opportunity for me as the 380 Cup is capable of a much better time. There is now a well know Porsche / BMW tuner in Germany (Laptime Performance) that will go after the laptime in his 380 Sport and is pretty confident that with very few modifications (not power or aero ... just wheels and suspension) he will easily be able to do better. Its the owner (Simon) btw. that bought a 380 Sport as his toy ... which I found pretty cool for a know BMW / Porsche Tuner ;-) .... we will see what he comes up with... Here is the whole story but its all in German ;-(

What about the obvious one a 991 GT3?!? seriously: a Ferrari 458 would be high on my list but the more track use you will have the bigger the running cost difference of the Ferrari... for me this is one of the best cars ever built but I would not buy it as a 50% track car. My favorite would of course be the Speciale but no chance to get anywhere near to your price point with a Speciale...

    Yep - they do a good Job there in Wuppertal... If it was a matt black Exige CR it probably was me ... just found out from Lotus btw that they only built 10 CRs in matte black world wide... I think mine is the only one in the area ;-) Cheers Norbert

    @hml_xy congrats!!! Stunning car!! From the picture above it looks like you bought it were I bought mine a couple years ago. I am from Düsseldorf as well and drive a matt black EX460 btw. Is the GT430 going to be your daily? Are you planning to take it on track? I am on track regularly a couple times a year... Cheers Norbert

  15. @Turbo911 if you are interested in the V6 Cup 2way Nitrons - a friend of mine wants to sell a set, as he is moving to the TTX or a KW Competition ... i think he wants 2k EUR plus shiping costs...
  16. The Kobra4 is based on a PFC system ... PFC is amongst the very best you can get and so is the Kobra4 - probably the best upgrade for me so far. Dont know the other Kit btw
  17. Same for my EX460 ... I wouldnt want to miss beeing able to run mine up to 72xx rpm ... so much fun - the power development is just phenomenal ... if I had a 380 I would do a „remap“ to get rid of that lower rev limit ... Very different on my BMW ACS4 ... the rev limit is 8xxx (dont even know exactly) but I usually already shift when the first shift lights come on (7xxx) because the power is flatening out and the engine is „beyond its peak“ ...
  18. Will do! @alias23 have you looked at the LiteBlox 19xx when you were looking for a LiPo battery?!?
  19. Not yet ... always thought the CR battery weighs only 6-7kg anyway and was intending to do it when the battery is done anyway ... Might reconsider now ... not sure ... but the liteblox is high on my list ...
  20. Cool ... sounds like a good opportunity to shed some weight on the CR as well ...
  21. Any idea how much of a weight saving this would be on the Club Racer Battery?!?!?
