No, it doesn't need to come off to ex460 -
There is a 3-11 on here with it, also seen a few a Spa going around (matt black one from memory)

The 3-11 upgrade would be suitable as far as I am aware, nice increase, but ok with standard engine internals and gearbox https://komo-tec.com/Shop/en/Other-Lotus/3-Eleven/Power-Phases/Phase-Eleven-475-Upgrade-60hp-80Nm-3-Eleven.html I'd also add the carbon air box and suitable bespoke mapping session.

Good luck with it - isn't the TVR keeping you busy with repairs etc 😁 If I wanted one, I think I'd buy Dave's, stick a big wing on it and see how quick it can go around Spa.

Big wheels and tyres, looks like the bodywork has been trimmed to so they can fit.

I tried that, but the readings seemed very high. Could be heat from engine/manifolds. Maybe I'll look at trying to stick them in better positions.

Hoffmans also do a cooler too - different to the Komo-tec one. Trouble is, because we don't have a gearbox temp sensor we have no idea if the box was getting too hot, or how effective the cooler actually is.

@baronbennyt My Exige Cup cut out at the Ring earlier this year. I went over a rumble strip at very high speed and everything died. It took me about 20 mins to try the green button on and off - but it fired straight back up. I'm told my car does not have an inertia switch, but I'm not so sure...........

I hear you, but the peak power is at the top of the rev range - and the engine in not always there, you need to look at power and torque to weight through the rev range, then factor in the AMG has seven gears not six and changes gears is a flash. I've been out with some of these AMGs on track and they always seem pretty mighty.

A Tyre’ring affair

I'd be very interested in these new Cup2 R tyres in 225/45 or 40 /17 and 285/30/18 - anyone know if they will make? I thought they were just fro Porsche RS thingies. -
