  1. Our next breakfast meeting will be at Loch Leven's Larder, Channel Farm, Kinross KY13 9HD (menu here) on 2nd December from 9:30am -11:00am, please note earlier start time for this month. The reason for the earlier start is that from 11:00am - 4:00pm there is a Festive Foodie Market on and the cafe and farm shop is expected to be busy. Breakfast is also a very busy time for this café on a Sunday. With this in mind and the fact that people use the car park to go on walks around the Loch, it will be best if we park by the fence at the top of the car park so that we don't get blocked in. I have reserved tables for around 16 people and you should order your breakfast on arrival and not wait until everyone is seated. Please let me know asap by adding your names below if you are coming along so that if we have more than 16 I can increase the reservation. An early indication would be appreciated, thank you. 1 & 2 Brian & Jackie
  2. Hi Jan I haven’t done the NC500 yet so personally can’t recommend accommodations or must see points on the trip. I know a number of our LEGS members have done the trip so hopefully someone will pop up and give you some pointers. I will send a Group PM to our LEGS members and ask them for help. Once you have dates for your trip I am sure some of us could meet up with your group.

  7. Great photos and great view of the Lake. Morges is one of my favourite places to visit having spent many family camping and caravanning holidays at Le Petit Bois Camping in Morges. Swiss Classic British Car Meet @ Morges Happens every year click the link above for more photos. Unfortunately I haven't been to this meet for a few years, was there when Lotus were the featured car. This year it was Aston Martin

  9. The November breakfast meeting will be on 4th November 10:00am - midday at MHOR 84 Motel, Balquhidder, FK19 8NY Breakfast Menu and for anyone interested afterward breakfast a trot around the Trossachs with the route to be decided on the day. One circuit could be Crianlarich, Tyndrum, Dalmally, Inveraray, stopping off to visit the jail, Rest and be Thankful, Tarbet, Balloch then split to head home. Difficult to plan a route just now as Rest and be Thankful is closed and I'm not sure when it will open again so a decision on the day would have to be made. If interested please add your name to the list below as I will give the Motel an idea of numbers a couple of days before the meet. 1 & 2 Brian & Jackie

  11. Sorry to here that @Johnny5 hope you get it back soon. Have they been able to source a clutch yet?
  12. Yes, that would be me heading back home after a couple of days in London after the 70th Anniversary at Hethel. A great run up the A697.
  13. Great idea. Given that we had 20% of the world population of official GTE’s this year I’m sure we could get more next year. I have a Gazebo if Lotus don’t have unough to go round 😁
  14. I saw that skulking behind the toilet block and thought it looked rather shabby. Has Stratton built many and are they sold? Sorry I didn’t see your car or meet you but saw No’s 2 and 10 and spoke to Gavin @21gg andArchie @BigErch it was a fantastic day but just a pity there wasn’t a GTE in the “one of every model” line up, maybe next year. 🤞

  19. Yes it sounds great but BBQ timings are, meet at 6:00pm food 7:00pm. I would love to go to the museum but I do want to get to the Hotel mid afternoon and relax as I will have been travelling down from Inverness late afternoon Thursday after a board meeting, head for home, change cars, pick up the wife and travel to near Durham staying overnight and leaving there first thing in the morning to get to my mother in law's house in Aslockton for midday. Quick turnaround and head off around 1:00pm to Dunston Hall hopefully arriving there about 3:00pm. What time do you think you will pass the A1/A17 junction Gareth? @theelanman
  20. What time were you planning to be passing the A1/A17 Junction? If between 12:30 and 1:00pm I could meet up with you there. I am staying overnight Thursday near Durham and driving to Aslockton (20mins down the A46 from Newark) to drop my wife off at her mum's. I expect to be in Aslockton by midday, quick turnaround and could be back up to A1/A17 junction about 12:30, all traffic permitting of course.
