  1. That would be first of all high speed damping. Low speed is more about reacting to the continuous load.

    V6 width

I think it is just down to the driving skills (as per @Arun_D's comment above)...
  3. How can the fitment be seen as perfect if one needs a file to make the hole a little bit larger to fit the panel?
  4. Who are all of these people in all of these videos and why do their opinions/impressions matter?

    How about this:

    New Evora GT4?

Indeed that level of power, aero and general engineering may be a bit much for that distance. Same as GT40 is far from always shining super brightly. 😉

    New Evora GT4?

Can't agree more! Was just a bit surprised by a reference to Senna. Those are just different classes of cars, in my opinion. That being said, being slower than Senna does not mean being slow - most of the cars are. 😉

    New Evora GT4?

From the video, as I understand. And you really think they don't cut some moments out? Or that it's equivalent to Senna in terms of Goodwood hill performance?
  9. Exactly my line of thinking, especially on #3. Working on it.
  10. Very tempted. Only need to 1) somehow rearrange for earlier flight back from Dublin and go into Bristol instead of LHR, 2) manage to change the brake pads of which there is none left, and 3) maybe also change the rear tyres of which there is almost nothing left. Looks much, so very not sure if it will be possible.
  11. Totally agree in every aspect
  12. In what way is an Exige superbly engineered? Superbly to what? It is one of the more unusual cars with high degree of manual labour, no real modernisation over the last >20 years and multiple quality issues all over it. Obviously, there is interesting characteristics to it, which are significant enough for me personally to like mine and have no regrets about buying one. But pathetic nonsense like the above post (just my opinion, hopefully I am allowed to have one) is well over the top and totally fails to address the considerations of why the same Exige Sport 350 now and 18 months ago differ in price by 10-15%
  13. Can't agree more. Also, 79,982 in my books is more like 80k and not 79k... What I've heard directly from one of the nice salesman late last year was that prices are a bit rigid due to changed business arrangement with Lotus, which makes dealers' business a bit more difficult.
  14. Try to live in a country where (almost) everyone disregards the law, it may help to understand the value of it.
  15. Short term fuel trims can be reset due to disconnecting the battery, without any software related intervention. What @Kristof Thys has suggested makes perfect sense.
  16. You read it incorrectly. They call weasel a mammal, which is absolutely correct.
  17. Your choice. 215/40 will be a noticeably smaller diameter tyre. AD08R is not a great match for an Exige.
  18. A bit unconventionally, I personally thing that having chips on the paint is a normal wear and tear process - would never bother with PPF. To me it's a bit like buying a really expensive sofa and putting it under the cover so it doesn't get worn out. Fully appreciate that it is an individual decision and preferences differ.
  19. So far the go to option is PSC2 in 215/45, I'd go for these over AD08R without any doubts
  20. It does sit between the hardtop panel and car body at the rear. Tight fit but falls into place fine, I had th same confusion when refitting mine last autumn.
  21. Isn't (vaguely) sticking to the speed limits a normal practice in pretty much any civilised country with decent roads, irrespective of the car driven?
