The “calibration” will be because they think the car has a ADAS lane departure camera, which it obviously does not. It also could be their code for “needs to be done in the garage, not at home” because of the need for clam loosening. I’m currently going through the same process with Autoglass with my Emira. Waiting for them to schedule the fourth fitting attempt, because they keep breaking the dab aerial connector. After every failed attempt they pester me to have it calibrated, despite me pointing out every time that I don’t have a camera. Good luck!

The Goodyears can be had with Sports suspension (it’s what I’ve got), so you can’t assume that. If they had the Cup 2s, then they definitely would have Sports, as you can’t option Cups with Touring.

It’s a bit of a worry when they think the V6 Emira has a OPF/GPF! I hope whoever writes the website doesn’t make the exhausts.

According to Apple support you should plug it in first. Do not connect to the car’s bluetooth. Then accept the prompt on the phone asking to “connect wirelessly in future”. Carplay sorts out the bluetooth and wifi connection. Mine has been seamless since I did this.

Yep. It’s not especially hidden. I already know where it’s located, and I haven’t even got my car yet. If I can find out, then the average interested car thief certainly can.

And just to show that the process seems completely random, I had the enhance/protect email on 21st October and I’m still waiting for the checkout one, seven weeks later. December build, January handover apparently. 🤷‍♂️

Yep. That appears to be the case. Had my call today. Dec build, Jan delivery. 23 Jun ‘21 deposit. Wondering what the post-reveal depositor who’s getting his car this Friday did to deserve it.

Strange. If it was first registered after 1st April 2017 it should follow the new system and be £520. 🤷‍♂️
