  1. Mine works fine about 90% of the time. Occasionally it doesn’t connect, but you get an automated call from Scorpion that you can dismiss verbally.
  2. An o-ring. Various sizes are available. Additional advantage is being non-scratch. I have patented this idea so you’re not allowed to use it without paying me a royalty. Pretty sure that’s not true. Even on Scorpion’s website it’s described as an additional protection against relay theft. Which hopefully the Emira won’t suffer from as it’s not keyless entry.
  3. I’ll save Lotus the trouble. Change the small widget speed display option to average trip speed, not dual speed units. On the steering wheel buttons. Then change the distance units between miles and km in the main menu (central screen). I’ve just got back from 1300 miles (or 2100km) in France with the main speedo and distances happily in kph.
  4. The “calibration” will be because they think the car has a ADAS lane departure camera, which it obviously does not. It also could be their code for “needs to be done in the garage, not at home” because of the need for clam loosening. I’m currently going through the same process with Autoglass with my Emira. Waiting for them to schedule the fourth fitting attempt, because they keep breaking the dab aerial connector. After every failed attempt they pester me to have it calibrated, despite me pointing out every time that I don’t have a camera. Good luck!

The Goodyears can be had with Sports suspension (it’s what I’ve got), so you can’t assume that. If they had the Cup 2s, then they definitely would have Sports, as you can’t option Cups with Touring.
  6. It’s a bit of a worry when they think the V6 Emira has a OPF/GPF! I hope whoever writes the website doesn’t make the exhausts.
  7. According to Apple support you should plug it in first. Do not connect to the car’s bluetooth. Then accept the prompt on the phone asking to “connect wirelessly in future”. Carplay sorts out the bluetooth and wifi connection. Mine has been seamless since I did this.
  8. Actual model number is Platinum AGM096E. 70Ah, 760CCA, 278x175x190mm.
  9. Yep. It’s not especially hidden. I already know where it’s located, and I haven’t even got my car yet. If I can find out, then the average interested car thief certainly can.
  10. You’ve resurrected my thread that’s nearly as old as the wait for my Emira! Picking it up next week at last. With a tracker. Let’s see how I get on.

At least that bit is normal. Different states of tune. This is the vin decoder for the Evora 400/410/430 cars.
  12. And just to show that the process seems completely random, I had the enhance/protect email on 21st October and I’m still waiting for the checkout one, seven weeks later. December build, January handover apparently. 🤷‍♂️
  13. Good luck to you fella. I am wondering though, what is it about your car that means you get it before all us pre-reveal depositors.
  14. Yep. That appears to be the case. Had my call today. Dec build, Jan delivery. 23 Jun ‘21 deposit. Wondering what the post-reveal depositor who’s getting his car this Friday did to deserve it.
  15. Strange. If it was first registered after 1st April 2017 it should follow the new system and be £520. 🤷‍♂️
