  1. I fitted a new carbon sail panel yesterday. Today I was presented with the driver's side edge being very proud of the body work. I retrieved a tab which holds one of the rear keyhole pins. The detached tab is plastic rather than carbon. My plan of action for repair is to clean up the surfaces and rebond the two pieces with MMA epoxy. Does anyone else have any advice?
  2. Had the wheels refurbed in gold I'm thinking it needs more carbon
  3. A side step but Evora v’s a 43” monitor:
  4. More or less. I didn't fit them myself but there was issues getting them secured. They also needed more than just painting to get them finished properly. Even then there are flaws. Yes, I am looking to get the passenger headlight replaced soon.
  5. “Evora GTE front vent covers”
  6. My problem is that with one side of the car jacked up high enough to get my axle stands under the car (with a hockey puck) I can’t get the jack under the other side of the car. In the end my local garage loaned me lifting some wheel dollies which got the car up high enough.
  7. How is one supposed to lift all 4 wheels of the car off the ground with just a trolley jack and axle stands? All I can find documented is the 4 obvious jacking points under the car, but it looks like I am going to need all 4 wheels off the ground and I'm kind of stumped.
  8. After much faffing about I've found someone had put a cap head bolt into one of the mounting threads. This was hitting some of the fiberglass dash and needed to be removed before you could remove the HU. 🤬
  9. Thanks for the advice still stuck and left scratching my head.
  10. I'm struggling to remove the HU from my Evora. I've got the dash trim off and removed the 4 bolts holding the HU mounting frame. But no matter what I do the right hand side of the HU gets stuck against something very solid after pulling the HU out about 2-3cm. The feeling is two pieces of metal hitting each other and there's a dull clunk when it gets to this point so I don't think it's cables getting stretched. Any ideas how to get beyond this point? I've been messing about for around 90 minutes.
  11. Well it's a metal plant pot holder not a teacup and saucer. 'twas my first choice as everything else I could find was ceramic, glass or very dirty.
  12. To spread the load of bike. The first time I drove a decent distance with the bike, it left an impression in the leather which you can still see (if you know where it is).
