it looks as if hendy will have something in Southampton in a while...so what will happen to snows, may be hendy will take over their site or open a new dealership???
https://www.hendy.co.uk/lotus/dealers/
may be there will be some good deals to be had.

Mine had bolts in the end plates, as it was useful when my paint shop painted it. These are seen on the parts diagram, but i think that the bolts given here are the wrong size.

Just found this one for exige.. and quite cheap.. don't how it would fit an evora.

drive past both locations today just to see if there were signs of any work starting, but not. The honda showroom does look a little tired anyway.

Ideally I want it to look like this when finished but with body coloured uprights
where do you hope to get the large LOTUS decal for the top of the wing..I suppose the same sort of size would fit mine as well.

The other thing i found that the c/f wing was heavier than i expected and the tailgate struts were a bit weak so i had to change them.
Many years ago i owned a jps 91 f1 rear wing element, that i had mounted on a wall and it was incredibly light.

Is it not possible to take the rear brake light off the original wing and refit it on the carbon wing?
it is possible but getting the cable fed thru to the right side upright was not easy, and where the recess is for the light was not big enough for the where the cable comes out of the light fitting, so in the end i fitted a set of joiners in 2 places. And it meant that i could easily refit the original one, and i'd have a spare light in case it failed. The lotus c/f wing also needed larger diameter bolts, the holes in the tailgate were big enough though. it was more difficult getting the cable connector in the right upright apart. Made a couple of wooden supports to keep the boot open just enough to get the bolts undone and to stop the wing moving too much.

i got mine from a very helpful seller in norfolk. a factory one for a similar price to the aftermarket ones. Also the imports could have some import duty/tax applied. I fitted it to my evora s last xmas,I also bought a stop light for it from SJ. But now have removed it so that i could p/ex it against my gt430. so the spoiler could be for sale. We met at SWLC open day last year and i live just west of exeter. my evora being the amethyst grey. when i find a photo of it i'll post it.

From the map found , it looks to be based in the honda dealership. Will be good to have a dealership in exeter, although there are 2 great specialists not far away. The thought of battling the M5/ holiday traffic to cribbs causeway would be a pain.

Great, i have downloaded it and will spend some time looking at the details. I also have the option of not using a wire to go thru the rear but try it with a wireless option

Ever tried that in an esprit @Giniw? Give us all a good chuckle and bang up a video of that please 😁
Was not easy in the excel but had to do it once when the drivers door would not unlock - and as it was over 20 years ago i was a lot more nimble.

That is where I got the idea from but I missed the part with the access panel 😄 but easy to reach!
I think that this is what needs to be explained as how to get at this...

Entry to the car doesn’t look that elegant does it?😂
For that reason, I won’t be buying one as my wife would hate trying to get in it. 😉
I first thought he was trying to get in the back, then i realised there are no back seats. Makes the elise/evora etc look very easy to get in.

Blimey, Lord March has aged well since I last saw him.
Perhaps the real one could not get in the car

Sexy looking for sure, but I still find that whining noise bloody irritating though.
It sounds a bit like formula E, not good to listen to. Needs a soundtrack added.

So as it's a 400 then i suppose it only has one 12v socket as well. So it will be interesting to see where the wires run either down the centre of the car up to the mirror, or down one side and up the A pillar then to the centre?

I also recently acquired something similar but it has 2 video inputs, i was planning to fit the camera to the rear wing, run the cable thru the louvres into the engine bay and then try to run it into the rear cabin. I had downloaded this video before (along with all the others in his rebuild. but it is not clear what / how exactly he removes the various parts of the interior. I have removed the rear panel (mines a 2+0) undone a few more screws and then wondered how hard to start pulling.. It will be interesting to see how you get on...I was not going to interfere with the existing reverse camera etc in case i had to remove it all.
What version of the evora do you own. Mine only has 1 12v supply.
