  2. Here’s a link from 2bular to explain their side of things… https://www.2bular.com/qp-system-on-track?fbclid=IwAR0o3KSEvjxE_aGu_PmRU_ckYx409xu7FF7NSY6hG53CgFbARNBWz-IPfWc I don’t have any affiliation 2bular but think it’s only fair to hear from both sides before casting judgement. Jim goes on a bit of a rant but does state part of the exhaust was from a car previously crashed… It’s terrible what’s happened to Eddie, and hopefully he gets he’s car repaired without too much hurt to he’s pocket.
  3. Has anyone fitted a quick release steering wheel on an IPS car? I was wondering if there were any issues with the paddles being too far out of reach from the wheel? Is it possible to fix the paddles to the wheel rather than fixed to the steering column.
  4. I think the ducts they are referring are on the existing diffuser which you just transfer over.
  5. I upgraded the pads first, went for Performance Frictions, this made a huge difference although they did eat through the standard discs pretty quickly. I now have the big brake Alcon floating discs from SL. Haven’t used them properly yet but I had heard good things about them. Hopefully they last a bit longer than the standard drilled discs.
  6. Speak to Dave at SL, he’ll be totally honest with you. I ended up buying he’s 1-way’s with their own valving set-up purely as I trust his judgement. I wanted a fit and forgot set-up that that was mainly track focussed. I can still change the stiffness and that’s all I really cared about. I don’t chase times though, I just have fun.
  7. Yes it’s Carbon but it’s been painted matte black. Not sure if I want to keep it that black, paint it body colour or bring it back to Carbon finish.
  8. I did plan to use the gas struts but I couldn’t get a rivnut tool in position. I’ve since bought the boot stay but haven’t fitted it yet.
  9. I have V6S and I changed the rear glass panel to that louvred one. There were just a couple of components that needed to be swapped over
  10. I think we spent about 3/4 hours getting this done and by far the longest part was fitting the new tow strap bracket. Stupid design! Obviously it would have been easier if we dropped the exhaust but we didn’t want to go through all that just for 4 bolts - for something I hope I never have to use.
  11. If you have a warranty then I wouldn’t risk it personally. It could be used against you if the worst were to happen.
  12. I don’t remember there being a major issue, I did have a mate help so it was easier to align everything. we just loosely bolted everything together, lined up and tightened.
  13. Managed to fit the 430 diffuser this weekend (with some help from a mate) The hardest part was swapping the vertical tow strap bracket for the horizontal bracket. Managed to pick up the diffuser for £350 and the grille for about £115. The bracket was £30 so costs were really reasonable considering it was all OEM.
  14. I think Dave at Seriously Lotus (who’s on these forums) will be installing one on one of he’s cars in the coming weeks.
