  1. Hi, here is another very early model : https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1996-lotus-elise-4/ Jep, on your car, the sticker with the VIN shows "Lotus Cars Prototype" and your VIN is naturally not using the classic format which appears later. On the other car currently advertised, it's not write "Lotus Cars Prototype" but "Lotus Cars Ltd". Its VIN ends by 0036. From Lotus archives, I know that: I wonder if your car how your VIN ends... Is it between 0017 and 0024? We can discuss by private message if you want. Thanks!
  2. Hi Justin, I wonder when the change happens exactly. Do you know that? Also, what's write on your V5? Is your car already registered as an Elise model? Do you have any prototype mention?
  3. Wonderful story and car Jep! Thanks for sharing that. I noticed an interesting detail, the VIN doesn't match the structure of the production model Elise S1 as described on Seloc: https://wiki.seloc.org/a/File:Vin_decoder.JPG
  4. It was done yesterday, I hope I'll have an answer.
  5. I asked the seller, it's a mistake: the car is the #16.
  6. Here is the updated register and the repartion RHD/LHD.
  7. Thanks Paul! I attached you the plates #28 and #46. I don't have other numbers you missed. As far as I know, 36 RHD were produced and 31 sold in the UK. I have 34 RHD in my register. I will share an update a bit later
  8. Hi everybody, I'm a French Lotus enthusiast and I write articles concerning limited Lotus models (here concerning the LF1). I share you here the latest version of my LF1 register with the driving type of each car. I still miss 13 cars...
