  1. Someone is in for a shock when the realise what needs sorting, did suprise me what it sold for!
  2. Copart NA sold for just short of 20k - 21.6K with the fee's for the buyer https://www.copart.co.uk/lot/69860633/clean-title-2010-lotus-evora-2-v6-colchester
  3. Without the carb jet restriction then the valve will always be open regardless of the sport mode or not You can play around with the size of the restriction to move the RPM when the valve opens, i just bought a set of carb jets for a scooter from ebay was £5 or something then tried larger or smaller ones, the sizes are stamped on the jets
  4. I dont know the answer to your questions to how i actually works, i just know when i fitted it that it did work and the valve worked on the sport button and opened manually around 2,900rpm
  5. I can see the need with older classic cars that can be hiding rust & other rather expensive issues but on a more modern car i dont really see what a specialist is going to be able to do more than you and a jack on a drive? When i went to see mine took a jack and made sure i was happy with the suspension & pick up points & that everything worked inside as it should. Might just be me though! Good look with the search cars are few and far between so i found when something popped up i like i just bought it, i have no regrets
  6. That reminds me of the rear arch trim piping thats on the Seven Something like this - https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/wing-piping-per-metre?gclid=CjwKCAjw0N6hBhAUEiwAXab-TfPesvCRhCwLracVrBSGB3YM2ztzGjvu17YCCEvb13rx-3egL_W8QhoC19MQAvD_BwE
  7. You can run a the sport button as valve activation on a NA i did with mine, required changing the lines on the airbox flap vac system and using a carb jet to restrict airflow so it opened above 3000rpm but it worked fine
  8. Is it not a valved 2bular that is on there currently? If you go down the exige route then its just the rear box you need like i fitted, quieter with the valve closed and still a nice noise with it open but wont be as loud as most aftermarket options valve open.
  9. I have a 3rd cat delete pipe if you want to go down that route, my car already had one on and an exhaust i bought came with it. Ive also a lotus sports exhaust if you fancied that, personally i think the 3rd cat delete and the lotus sports exhaust is how the car should have come sounds great but not too loud at all Dont suppose you have a list of the items here? Looks a great job, did it sound much better?
  10. Not to worry just have breakdown cover Most towns have a tyre garage, ive done over 10,000 miles in my Elise in europe with nothing more than a can of tyre weld
  11. Worth noting the the close ratio box or not will be the biggest factor on fuel economy on the NA Without the CR box people have seen fairly high MPG numbers i think I have a NA with the CR box & my average is around 27mpg will go low 30's on a run no bother
  12. Fairly sure i know a previous owner of that car i can out you intouch if you want, was a woman and she will have done a fair amount of miles in it
