    Located the fuel pump. Unfortunately tapping with spanner did not re-activate the relay. Any ideas? Or specific location I should tap with spanner?

    Hello, I have an Esprit S2 (1978). It has been off-road over the winter. Usually, when I turn the ignition key, I hear the fuel pump clicking. I suspect the fuel pump relay has seize. In the past I can tap it with a spanner to loosen it. Any members have a drawing or picture of the S2 fuel pump location. Thanking you guys in advance

    Looking for a Lotus specialist to do a clutch replacement on a 1978 Esprit S2 in Greater London area. Recommendations will be much appreciated.

    One of the Esprit memebers informed me that you did some work on his Esprit.
    I have a 1978 Esprit S2 that need a clutch replacement.
    Will you be interested in doing the job?
    I was informed you at in the Watford area, is this correct?

      Hi Kam

      Happy to do it (especially S2!), but unfortunately wouldn't be until late Feb/Mar.  I've shut down for winter and won't start again until the winter period is over.  If you're in a rush, the only guy I could recommend is Gerald at GST in Newmarket.  He's very very good, but always busy!

      And yes, Watford.

    We chatted many moons ago about the S2.
    I saw your post on replacing the clutch.
    I need to do the same on my S2.

      Good to hear from you. I'd recommend @Sparky who's based in Watford or Max500 in Guildford.
