  1. Hi Use my elise couple of times a week, no issues till today, started it up from cold and rad fan came on straight away on start up. Had this before in an old elise and took it for a blast and it sorted itself out, this time no such luck after a drive. Anybody had similar, know anything i can try to resolve this? no mil light on, no other issues with car, non air con model. Thanks in advance Chris
  2. My Elise is a 2010 car 1 owner from new before me and did 72,000 and its great. serviced meticulously over its life and feels as good as cars with 20,000 on. DO IT!

    Evora wanted

just put mine up today... https://www.lotusforsale.com/ads/2011-lotus-evora-s-2-2/
  5. Hi all I have read all the posts in the world it seems about changing this head unit, i have a 2011 Evora S - it has the Alpine 520 and i have bought an Alpine 920 as reading on the seloc wiki it can be retro fitted with the harness, which i have on order from Lotus Silverstone, I have removed the 520 in readiness and looked at the cables, everything seems fine to go ahead and install when the harness comes. My question is, on the 920 the sat nave cable has the GPS antenna box on the end of the cable which is magnetic, if i place this in the "under dash" space somewhere, will this still pick up signal ok or is the cable quite long for a reason and this needs to be say on top of the dash or in the footwell somewhere? Has anybody who did this upgrade got any advice on where to put this? I know this 920 unit is now quite old given the times, but i wanted to retain a unit Lotus did fit to cars not too much older than mine. Thanks in advance Chris
