The few noticeable things I can see so far are
Digital Keys (only works with Apple) has been added
Parking Cameras, in settings, there is now an option that says it will bring up a zoomed in close camera view of objects that are very close....such as in narrow spaces.
DAB is still very clippy
The full changelog is as follows:LOTUS HYPER OS 1.5.0- The Wireless Charging function has been optimised by adding a charging button in the multi-function panel, allowing the user to activate or deactivate wireless charging.
- Digital Key has been released for smartphones and wearable devices. Usage instructions available through the digital key management page. Only supported for Apple devices.* Digital Key will be functional only after the service campaign is completed by the local retailer.

1.5.0 installed
-
Sorry that I've only just seen this. Not seen this reported before.
Did you get this resolved?
-
Edit: Ok it is 1.5.0. Reading the update text, it's looking like a decent update, with a load of GUI improvements and optimisations.

Not got it, but a notice hit me this morning that something new was trying to download (though oddly it did not mention it was 1.5.0). Not sure if it's a major update or a minor push of something atm.

I think it’s a great deal more taught on country lanes and feels like less body roll. Will test it more in anger when next in country. Track is certainly fun and seems fine even on road. Are S and Base on P Zero as opposed to Corsa? I suspect Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (or 5S) rubber will transform.
Yeah P Zeros on S
Are Michelin making OEM tyres for the Eletre?

A question for other owners - can you detect much difference in the suspension between Tour and Sport (other than the default ride height)?
Funny you say that, I was only thinking the same yesterday, as it just don't feel any difference. I would rather like a bit more bounce/soft feeling in Tour.

Not quite sure what that will do to those with range anxiety!
I've not come across anyone with a Ioniq 5 (which also does V2G) and a range circa 20% less than the Eletre being concerned about this, but I am sure a buffer could be built in, that cuts V2G upon the battery being down to a point.
-
Well this just at random resolved itself.
It does however have an annoying GUI issue. Whilst displaying this warning on the dash (which won't go), you can't see your state of charge or range details as it covers it. That needs a little work/adjusting.
-
Well well well....I did wonder if the Lotus had equipped silently cars with the technology to make a number of these upgrades possible, such as V2G and Sentinel

Anyone else had a warning come up saying one of your Tyre Pressure Detection Sensors has failed?
It's advising its a contact centre job, but not sure if it's just a blip that will reset.

AA works well ...... wireless.
How you connecting wireless? Either my phone is running an Android version that is too old (likely) or I'm losing it LOL

Apologies for the delay, I did promise pictures
So in summary:
(below 18MPH) you can see P0, P1, P2 (and the current position of spoiler)
(above 18MPH) you get a different graphic, showing P0, P1, P2 and a new P3 (the current position of spoiler is also presently differently...GUI mismatch??)
However, the car, even if travelling at speed/sports mode, never gets into a P3.
I don't know if at some point in the car development, they planned 3 positions of movement, but the graphics never got changed.
Hopefully this explains things better? It's just feels inconsistent.

An update this...something has certainly changed in 1.4.0W
It does not matter the conditions, I can't drive a couple of miles before I'm told to take a break.
I have a noticeable screen smear for the amount of times I swipe the notice away.
-
Red was removed from the available options. Is this early car still sat in a dealership?
-
I'm certainly seeing improvements compared to January. Similar runs compared to what I opened this thread with are now 275-280 miles, roughly 30 miles more.

I'll see if I can get a couple of pictures later (whilst on a private road) showing what I mean, as the spoiler only seems to have 2 fixed raised positions (unless of course the 3rd position is maybe for R models, so the screen should not show on Base or S specs).

Is that an "R" only feature? I've not seen a spoiler page, I always assumed the spoiler settings were all just automatic and tied to the drive mode of Sport, Tour, Range.
Nope, it's on S as well.
Go to the car overview and you can select the spoiler icon. Then from there you can manually select it's height. This will override the drive settings.
If you leave that page option, as soon as you go above 18MPH it changes from 3 options to 4 😕
-
This is a bug that has been showing since 1.0.0 software, but still remains in 1.4.0W
If the car is under 18MPH, the spoiler page has 3 positions available on the graphic P0, P1, P2
If the car is over 18MPH, the spoiler page has 4 positions available on the graphic P0, P1, P2 & P3
I'm presuming at some point the plan was/is to have more gradual positions of the rear spoiler, with one graphic reflecting that, but at present the pages are inconsistent.

Anyone else noticed that the fatigue warnings have gone bonkers on 1.4.0 software series?
I'm not entirely sure what metrics drive this warning, but I can't go 10 mins down the road without being told to pull over and take a break....even after a good solid 8 hours sleep lol...i dismiss it...and within a short period of time, its back.
Another option that is now getting switched off as part of my pre-flight checks....soon I'll be serving inflight meals too!

Lotus phoned me up yesterday regards to my report about Auto Braking. Had a good 30 min chat about the situation, what the conditions were like, what was going on etc....basically broke it all down together. I raised concerns about Pet owners and how without the owners fault, pets could be thrown around the cabin during these phantom auto brakes.
I have to say, my comments seemed to be taken onboard, the guy was in no rush to end the call and he advised he was documenting and sending it up to the teams with area of concern. Just being listened to, for me at least, shows they care about the ownership experience.

Both features are just using cameras and all cars seem to be coming with LIDAR kit, even if not ordered, so in theory both could be OTA updates, however, within the apps/portals, I've not presently seen these as options to order afterwards (I didn't bother with Highway Assist).
There is talk of Premium features coming, so they clearly are lining extra options, which will OTA based I'm sure, so a good chance they could be.
@Bibs might be able to get an official reply from HQ about this/plans.

Mine has updated straight from 1.3.0w to 1.4.0x with no issues.
Carplay and Android Auto both showing as Apps. If you do a long press on the taskbar (next to the phone and camera button) they both show for ease of adding.
Android Auto seems to be via USB only atm? Wireless/bluetooth support not working? My phones charge port is dead (wireless charging only atm) so I can't personally test it.
-
I think it's the same experience I had with the last one...you get plenty of alerts on phone app that the download has been suspended, but whenever you go back and check the download, it says it's still at 0GB (even though I know it's been at 10GB).
Sat in car, connected to WiFi or mobile hotspot, you just can't force it to start downloading.....there needs to be an a percentage download status and a notice in car to clearly show it's talking and connected to the update servers.
If you check for updates via the car, it always says (like last time), you currently have the latest version and no updates available.
Just inconsistent messages.

HyperOS Update?
in Propulsion/Battery/Driving/Tech & App

Yup, along with adjustments to fan speeds and lowering the car at different speeds, is all working towards a more optimised system.
