Got my freebie tickets for Friday so will probably mooch around for a few hours, then Saturday it's gonna be a whole family outing with Louise's parents coming too.

(Startline grandstand tickets for Saturday.....yeeeooouch, my ears!)

I think LH is turning up on Sunday - so quite glad we're not going then as there'd be a huge crush/fawning going on! :)

agreed :)

I'm going Saturday - there to see the cars/bikes not so much the drivers/riders. I'm no good at the fawning stuff anyway and such meetings can turn into a silent embarassing gawp all too easily. I'm not sure which vehicle to take yet - not that it matters cos the car park is out of view anyway. I'm meeting up with nephew Steven and convoying home later for a BBQ so shld be a fun run if he's in his 500SL! May see ya there......

Got to get this in the diary a bit earlier for next year. Another event I keep promising myself to get to.

If you can get tickets do it. It's the best event I have been to by far. Beats a grand prix hands down, even if you want to see F1 stuff. I went 2 years ago, and there were 8 F1 teams present if I remember correctly. Even Ferrari brought car transporters and coaches for personnel. I got there at opening and just wandered around row after row of millions of pounds worth of cars with barely another person in sight. It just didnt seem right some how. Obvioisly it gets pretty busy a bit later on.

Might bring the bus if its not crap weather. :)

I have to ask myself - 'do I feel lucky'?

I got there for 7am and just drove straight in, and that is my plan for this Sunday. Parking shouldn't be an issue as such, as they use huge fields, but I dont know about queues later on. Also, getting there for 7 gives you 2 hours of browsing time before anything starts.

I left at 7pm last time and drove straight out. Again, just spent time browsing at the end to wait for the masses to depart.

I'll be in the Zafira this year, as the wife and kids are going.

If you get there later than 9am, you'll be queueing a long time, at least an hour or so. If you're coming from London / A3, don't take the sign posted route, across the Country lanes, it takes ages and is very slow.

And leaving is the same. Last year, left at 6pm and queued for 1 hour :) .

Agree, it really is the best car day ever. Been going since it started and it gets better every year. The whole day's just total car porn.

For any Ferrari fans out there, the Ferrari P4 (based on the Enzo) is going to be there.

Fantastic day out today...........apart from the rain and mud :crybaby:

Was invited in to the F1 Honda garage for a close look at all the carbon fibre and a chat to the team-.....amazing!

Hamilton almost ran over my toe parking the mac. - that would have been an honour.............

Good day out, would recommend it to everyone :hope:

Nice pics. Some very exotic and rare automobiles there. Never seen a Vector or XJR15 in the flesh yet. Still hoping.
