Favourite films of all time

Great films listed here, no problem with any of them, but if one was stuck on a rock for all eternity with only one film to watch what would it be ? Probably an Ealing comedy like 'The Maggie' ....

Or Dune

Or Grand prix / lemans / Rendevous (all 6 minutes of V12 music)

Need to think a bit about this ....

The man who would be king.

Das Boot.

Blade Runner.

Movies about car racing always seem to end up all corny and crap, but for the cars alone Le Mans takes some beating.

Wayne, would that be the 149 minute version as originally released or the full 5 hour version? You certainly know how to get value for money.

Just like Kimbers who put 2 films and a trilogy in his top 3.

Heat - It's on now too and the post 'job gone wrong' gunfight is happening, amazing nice and loud on a Bose surround system

De Niro and Pacino in a film together, that's just too much!

No Simon, "BLUES BROTHERS"!!!!!! :)

No Italian Job - any film that has a Lamboughin Muira giving it the berries through the Italia Alps and then being smashed up into a large piece of plant hire has got to be better than yankie cop cars being driven through a shopping mall! Granted it is a very good film abd probably still hold the record for the most smashed cars in one scene but it lacks the finesse my friend!

Bibs i am with you mate best shoot out ever!

I always thought i was the only film that they ever star in togesther but of course they starred together in Godfater ii. Only problem is there are no proper cars in it! At least there was an S8 in ronin

If only the good the bad and the ugly had Lambo's and G cars in it!!!!

I thought the muira that got smashed up in the Italian Job was a mock up? no great loss either way , dont like them much

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
