Hello from Atlanta

Hello from Atlanta, GA! I'm new to the forums, joined as I have placed my deposit for the V6 Manual Emira through a local dealer here.  One of my best friends (he's a member on these forums but he can't recall his user name and I have yet to find him) owns a 2005 Elise which I've had the good fortune of driving and has made me a convert! As soon as the Emira dropped, I knew it would likely be my next ride. 

A bit about me - I was raised in greater Atlanta and attended the University of Georgia.  After a few years working as an IT consultant traveling around the US, my girlfriend (now wife) and I moved to Melbourne, Australia where we both worked for two years.  We returned to the US in 2013 and have lived in Atlanta since.  I am definitely a motorhead, I enjoy wrenching on my cars and driving on track. I'm an MSF certified HPDE driving instructor and instruct at a few local tracks (thus far just Atlanta Motorsports Park and Barber Motorsports Park). I've driven a few tracks here in the southeast US, including Road Atlanta, Atlanta Motorspeedway, Atlanta Motorsports Park, Barber, Roebling, Carolina Motorsports Park, and Virginia International Raceway. Beyond cars, I enjoy the outdoors, mountain biking, woodworking, model trains, computing, and spending time with my wife and two puppies.  I'm super excited to join the Lotus owners family hopefully soon (still waiting on a build number/price/ship date!).  Here's a screencap of my intended build/order:

Welcome and congratulations on getting your Emira deposit down! Will be a change from your Japanese machinery but by the sounds of it you're going to enjoy the dynamics of the Emira from what we've heard!
