4xx gearing (manual)

My memory fails me. Anyone know what the max mph in each gear is ?

I seem to remember 2nd was about 65 before bouncing off the limiter or have I got that wrong?

(I’m pretty sure that the 4XX cars use the same ratios as the ‘close ratio’ ‘box).

From my calculations when deciding to regear, here are the speeds of a US-spec 2017 Evora 400 with a 295/30/20 rear tire in lieu of the OE 285/30/20: 

 

1st                 42             

 

2nd                77            

 

3rd               105            

 

4th               135            

 

5th               177            

 

6th               200 (theoretical only - car was rated by Lotus at 188mph top speed if I recall)
