m100 s2 imobilizer

elan m100 s2 imobilizer cut in and stopped working remote is giving out a signal and has new batteries    is there a way to energise the ignition or bypass      also where is the module fitted

I set up an account yesterday, took a while to find out where the link was, I don't think that forum is as active as the TLF, as this forum covers the more recent models and of course the launch of the Emira etc.

I joined the elan forum as I am considering getting one???

There's no garry,no garry smith  or any sparky that would/could be you in the members list........

Try a search for posts under ealc and EALC mate cos you may have posted there previously (if you're the Garry I remember from my days as an EALC member...)

You need to short out three connections @garry. Hopefully Spud and Jonathan will be able to sort you out over on LEC but if you need details quickly then ping me an e-mail. I'm in Spain at the minute but I can probably find the marked up wiring diagram and pictures of the units.

Hotmail should work.......

They should ALL bloody well work (but sometimes don't) and it got through via AOL. Possibly a file size problem on Hotmail.
