I wonder why there are only 3 wheels nuts on each wheel of the coupe? I guess they probably wanted to simplify the car, and then add a bit of lightness.

On the profile photo (first picture) it's pretty low on the rear axle, isn't it?

    Sure, denser air is better!
  14. I wonder where the big white letters went. I would have put them in my garage Is it possible for anybody owning a (couple of) Lotus? Or just someone buying a new one? (an Evija? )
  15. I think I know who the owner is!
  16. Stainless steel & aluminium I don't know, actually I was more generic than that as, as far as I know there is a potential galvanic corrosion between steel and stainless steel. But if stainless steel & aluminium is fine, then it's nice to know! But maybe you have worked with less stainless steel than mild steel? (real question ^^)
  17. A MAG welder (steel wire+argon/CO2) can weld steel on stainless, the only issue is that there is a carbon addition to the melted stainless so it could rust afterwards (near the weld). And obviously the weld is made of steel, so ... But it still welds, and if you scrap the studs afterwards I guess it doesn't matter at all anyway. Stainless steel bolts (A2 or A4) are weaker than standard 8.8 automotive grade bolts, plus there is a risk of galvanic corrosion, so it's not the best idea in my opinion.
  18. Hi, I thought you had sold the Evora? Or is it another one? edit: oh it's a 2010 one indeed! (Nice!)
