MotorMania to link with Truck2Grantown 2022

MotorMania has been running for over 20 years in Grantown -on- Spey, albeit due to the recent Covid pandemic, the events from 2020 and 2021 had to be cancelled. Several key committee members have also retired in that time, including the founder Chairman, Ewan Sutton, and the Secretary, Duncan Grant. Due to a lack of sufficient replacement volunteers, the remaining committee members met recently to try and find a way to ensure that this prestigious event can continue.

As a result of this meeting, it has been decided that Motormania will integrate this year with another of Grantown’s major shows, namely “Truck In2 Grantown”, which is taking place on the Grantown Show Field, Cromdale Road, Grantown on the 14th May 2022 .

As it is very late in the day to try and organise this amalgamated event, we regret that we are only able to accommodate 100 Motormania vehicles for the show this year. Please also note that there is a charge of £20 per vehicle entered, which includes driver and one passenger. Other adults and spectators will be charged at £7.50 .

It is hoped that, if the event is well supported, we will be able to significantly increase the number of exhibitors for 2023. We look forward to welcoming you this year either as an exhibitor or as a spectator.
