Engine Oil Temperature

I have just installed an engine oil temperature sender in the moroso baffled sump. I was surprised to see only 60c on a slow motorway cruise, 70c at junctions. Seems low to me. I have not tested on track or B roads yet.

Anyone else out there seeing their oil temp? What do you see?  Thanks.

Can’t help with the temperature (but does sound low, maybe it’s the oil cooler doing that) but did you connect it via an AIM dash?

60C at highway cruise is normal in moderate ambient temps, as is 70C after some idling.

Yes. Connected up to AIM dash.

You need a data hub, and a patch cable. All on AIM shop.
