Gearbox oil Had a search but I could not find a straight answer

Morning all what is the current thinking on the gear box oil to use S3 with the later inboard disc box.

I currently use Mobil SHC 75w90

Many owners in the USA use Redline MT-90 both in their Citroen (inboard brakes) and Renault 'boxes (outboard brakes). No issues reported.

 

Also, put in an extra 1/2 L on the advice of Citroen experts.

As per Atwell's post, Harry Martens the Citroen gearbox guru recommended MT-90 and told me about adding an extra 500ml when I collected my gearbox from having a LSD fitted. I think he said it was to help properly lubricate 5th gear
