Yep, that'll be me.  We were down for the weekend at The Gilpin Hotel and although we had done the museum a few years back on a similar visit we couldn't think of something else dry and warm to do as everything we fancied doing didn't open for another 2 weeks or so.  Hey ho.  I was wandering around with a Lotus gilet on as well.

No doubt you visited the Bluebird Exhibition while you were there. Sir Malcolm and Donald Campbell would definitely have approved of the colour of your car 🙂

Very true, and yes we did.  I actually found the Bluebird building strangely moving  (possibly not the best word).  I was reading everything and watching the video playing and felt in awe of these guys but then there was a different mentality after WW2 for many people I guess.  Nowadays the Elf N Safety brigade would stop it all.
