At least this car needed a recovery truck, I think the NA didn't move far enough to even need that.

Anyway, it's only a minor breakdown, a turbo unit only isn't bad, and at least the weather has turned against us now, so you wouldn't want to drive a car like that with your "gentle touch" on the accelerator in wet eather.

360 bearing turbos - how 90s.. if you go the hog then get a good cermaic dual roller bearing turbo.. plenty of companies doing them.. GT28RS or GT30R etc..

I seem to recall at the end of that 40,000 miles it sat for a while, before somebody took on a restoration job.

With the new one, are you trying to go really fast and cover the 40,000 miles sooner?

Mines never going over 60mph, and definately not going to accelerate at more than 1/4 throttle.......
