i have noticed and have also been told ( could be because it has been pointed out) that quote boxes are appearing in a lot of the posts - see 'new bloke' for a classic example

Can the shortcut be changed to from 'reply' to 'add new post', without changing the labile from 'reply' ??

surely this would fix a posting error and would stop wasting time on trivial matters like house keeping

If I were to change it, there wouldn't be an option to reply with a quote but I think it would be worthwhile changing the text on the button from 'reply' to perhaps 'reply quoting original post' or something similar. It's only an inch to the 'fast reply' and 'add reply' buttons but some people haven't got the hang of the difference.
