More like it! James might be out though as his car's still broken.

I don't care if it's cold. I just wanna drive my car and meet up with you guys, and the kids will be there when I get back!

Hey, at least it hasn't exploded all over a motorcyclist (sounds like a pervy dream).

I was more annoyed about covering 3 nice, clean cherished Esprits in anti-freeze. :blushing:

& I didn't even know James' Esprit was out of service.

Anyway, about time we fixed times more firmly. I have no idea where you guys meet in Brentwood. 8.00 in Birchanger services (Stansted) ok?

Clutch hydraulic system problems. Booked in with Gerald after Easter so will be fixed in time for Donny. Meantime temporarily bodged with 'brown paper and parcel tape' method :P Should be ok for Brands (subject to more testing next week).

Last year those travelling clockwise round M25 i.e. from Herts, North London, Essex and East Anglia met in the car park of The Nags Head, Brook Street, Brentwood, CM14 5ND (approx. 1 min from M25/A12 junction (J28)). There to Brands Hatch should take no more than 20/25 mins.

Map showing location of Nags Head (opposite the 'circled' Holiday Inn) - clicky

^^ Brentwood meet location.

Birchanger (Stansted) > Brentwood is approx. 30 mins. So, aim to arrive Brentwood 08:30 and leave 08:45?

Should then be at Brands approx. 09:15

7.00 I think Keith. Should be plenty of time......assuming we're not under 4 feet of snow by then (like the forecasters say we'll have).

Metoffice for Saturday -

There is a moderate risk of a severe event affecting eastern Scotland, eastern England and some parts of the Midlands. There is a potential for heavy snow with temporary accumulations of up to 2 cms possible at low levels, and accumulations of 5 to 10 cms possible over high ground, especially during the first half of the day. Issued at: 0959 Wed 19 Mar

Now call me a wuss if you like but the SE stays tucked up in the garage if there's any more than a dusting of snow on the ground come Sunday...

Don't forget your Dartford crossing money everyone :(

How much is it? Been ages since I crossed it.

Forecast says cold and damp tomorrow.

In that case I'll be in the car which is more likely to stay on the road.

And enjoy the chargecooler-friendly conditions

Chaps - suggest if high winds you do A12, and then Blackwall Tunnel and A2. It will save you time. (Unless there are works in the B/W Tunnel so someone may want to check Highways Agency website).

Dave.
