Are there any Cambs members coming to this? Essex? Brendan? Toni?

Nifty, how are your vehicles?

You mentioned the possibility of Esprit & 7.

If both are running I would happily get you back to pick up the other one, or take somebody out to meet you so that both can be driven to the event.

I'm bringing a couple of folding chairs, I could bring my table umbrella as well for shade, anything else? Kimbers you said food is available?

Have you washed your car Andy? I am bringing my still camera and video camera so it may end up in my DVD. Come to think of it will I be allowed to video as I may need clearance from who evers watching over them, I wouldn't want to rock the boat and accidently filmed something or someone without permission. :)

I've washed mine tonight and am polishing it tomorrow so it's gleaming! :P

This is my last call to arms for AEG (and even non-AEG members). Please, please, please can we have some more attendee's. Chris has just PM'd me and his car may not be ready at the factory. We ideally need 2 more cars to make up the numbers.

As Owen mentioned. BBQ food will be free to show attendee's.

Owen, I believe we have a small marquee/tenty thing, but chairs are always great.

So sorry to let you guys down, but my car will not be ready in time after a problem with powder coating the plenum covers. Looks like I won't be able to pick her up until Monday now.

Kimbers, I know you are scratching round for support and I am gutted that I have had to duck out of my first AEG meeting.

May still come and see you guys, although I will have to pay for my burger now!

Chris.

The car is having its brakes sorted this afternoon at the local garage at Hethersett, so fingers crossed it should be ok for tomorrow (only new hoses and disks). I will bring a couple of folding chairs also. She you all at about 11.30 tomorrow.

Regards

Graeme.

Kimbers,

I have just got home from work & seen your posting on LEC.

Unfortunately EE sprung a brake leak last night & is definitely undriveable, but I will try to sort that tomorrow.

If I manage to do this quickly (which I seriously doubt), I will join you.

Your link on LEC for this event points to the whole USA :) , so could you update this please, because otherwise I will not know where to go. I have looked through this thread, but cannot find it. Was this something you discussed in person when you last met?

I'll PM you my mobile no.

Hi,

Tony, I have a small gazebo, so I will chuck that in the boot just in case. I've gone to thing's like this before to find what you've been promised doesn't turn up, so just to be safe. As long as the weather holds it should be a good day.

I'm now off outside to polish the car! :) I'll check back later. Andy, are you doing the same?

Owen.

Hi,

I'm confused now? Are we attending a school or the Hethersett FC? The thread started with the Hethersett FC, which is the large field in the village. :)

I've polished the car this evening, and will finsh the rest off in the morning. are we to aim for 11.30, or do you want us there earlier, 11am?

Probably not. It's a perforated brake line, so I don't consider that to be a specialist thing.

Unless my local garage is scared of the word 'Lotus'.

I also have limited braking, so can drive it a bit...but not to Newmarket.

Good to see everyone again, notwithstanding the shocking weather! Nice display of Esprits, complemented by Dave Ed's beautiful Elan (hope your knee's drying out now Dave). Huge thanks to Owen for having the foresight to bring the gazebo to keep us (relatively) dry.

Don't forget the 2eleven and the Elise James!

Surprisingly not one drop of rain entered the car on the way home :ermm:

Good to meet all of you AEG chaps and an honour to speak with MJK.

Thanks Wing Commander Kimbers for a fun (but wet) day :)

Dave.
