Nifty has been in touch and he has come up with a plan!! How would everybody feel about moving the venue from Cambridge to Norfolk again? Reason being the Lotus 7 Owners club have hired Snetterton for that evening and we thought it would be great to meet up with them! They have kindly offered to take us round in their sevens for free!! Further to that if you are prepared to pay

Would love to go round the track in a Seven, though I doubt I'd want to put the TE round with its current issues.

You should try NMEG tactics,

1) Pick venue and date and post it

2) Do not allow debate or make changes or sacrifices orany other form of wussy stuff

3) Go there

Its a formula that has worked well for a long time now.

Simon's only considering a local meet as he doesn't trust his Esprit yet, with good reason judging by the other post today.

I'm hoping we settle on Cambridge as we've got the 60th in Norfolk soon.

Given the choice between spending 3 hours lapping Snetterton followed by a light drink and fodder or a drive somewhat further down the same boring dual carriageway for a light drink and fodder you chose the latter.

Is this a club to appreciate fine handling sports cars or a dining club ??

I didn't really expect anyone, part from Andy possibly, to take their Esprit on the track but I did expect one or two to fancy a few laps riding shotgun in a 7.

Oh well, no guessing where I'll be on the evening of 2nd September.
