Last time I saw a mechanism anything like that it was on an ancient hand-cranked cine projector..only four positions rather than seven. It used the mechanism to advance the film, stop it in the gate whilst the shutter uncovered it to project, then move it on the the next frame..you got the 16 frames per second by cranking the thing to the tune of "Over the Waves"...which was very popular when the device was made!!

right! I's a stepper linkage (without any other sense than show how it worked toghether..) -you can call it *Schrittgetriebe* or *Maltesergetriebe*.

It was part of an silly exercise in my second Semester. Everybody got an special requirement.

-extent of the debt was:

use ISO/DIN profiles -use an specified range of main bearing diameter, use bold on conception, use weld points, use 4/5/7 steps, create 18 different combinations (fully functional)
