fuel tank access / removal

hi another problem, appear to have petrol leak drivers side.

can someone please tell me how do you gain access to inspect / remove petrol tank cant seem to find in my manual.

is this for an Excel or an Esprit?

Hi there,

There's nothing in the manual about removing your tank apart from one sentence.

the tank is on my esprit.

thanks guys that info is brill.

only had the esprit for a couple of weeks now. not driven her yet. have had to overhaul the brakes all were stuck, gear select was all over the place and the lift tube for reverse was in the glove box so re-fitted this along with a pnm translator mod. now i have fuel on the floor on the drivers side.
