My previous S3 for 5 and a half years.

My current one for about two months

This book is guaranteed to NOT change your life…but it does mention a Lotus Esprit...

To enjoy this masterpiece, download Martin now. Simples!!!

The Red one which we modified to EFI, owned for 4 1/2 years, driven for just over 2 years.

Green one, standard carburetors, owned for not quite a year.

Will never be without one.

Whilst I have enjoyed mine I have to say that possibly the best outcome of owning an esprit is the number of new friends/mates I now have. This year I have met more good honest people than over the last ten years or so.

All those new mates and a great car to drive - what more could you ask for.

So true mate.

Red S3 five years.

White SE five years.

Silver Elise 9 months.

It's kinda like i spent ten years in Esprits to pick up a nice gang of mates and then 'job done' and got an Elise!

IMO anyone running an Esprit is a true enthusiast regardless how long they have had it. You don't get an Esprit by

accident, you get an Esprit because you want one and are prepared to run it. I enjoyed my time in Esprits immensely.

19 years since new...apart from an extended holiday with Gav in 2002-2006.

Proud recipient of the LEF 'Car of the Month Award' February 2008

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: "Wow, what a ride!!"

1 year and 2 months. After wanting one for as long as I can remember, I bought it after going to Le Mans last year, and took it over there this year. We nearly made it all the way back home too, but a sudden catastrophic loss of coolant scuppered those hopes on the M20.
