Greetings all,

I recently purchased a pristine s2 after wanting, wishing, hoping for one most of my life (I'm 36...so you do the math).

It all started with a little white Hot Wheel...a life long addiction.

Now, after many years of being a bit a by-stander - I'm in the thick of it. And loving it.

I've always considered my self book smart about the Esprit and I relish the chance to put it all to practical use. And this forum will help.

The smiling guy in corner,

Timothy

Welcome, Timothy!

And NICE S2! Not enough brown ones, and even fewer in good condition!

seriously. S1/S2s are becoming popular lately, which is fine with me. Good stuff, yours looks great :P

Another S2. Excellent! And you live in a state with no sales tax and a city with a mass of micro-breweries. Life can't get much better than that, can it?

Welcome and have fun.

Okay Junkies,

Some more details about my S2. Sorry for taking so long to post these pics (schedules and all).

NOTE:

I will get this car into the site garage, however my safari browser won't let me add make/model/etc, thus I am unable to post. Whom should I contact about this? Thanks.

complete engine rebuild @ 15000 (in 1982!), with Dell 'Orto's however still has the RED HOSE! oi.

orginal interior (with added oil temp gauge)

straight body, with Roman Bronze paint and hardly any spider cracking.

Thanks for looking. I'll post more pics soon.

Tim , my car still has its red hose too

I just replace and bleed the fluid in the clutch system once in a while

Roman Bronze was originally a colour used by Ford of Europe on Escorts , Capris, Cortinas and Granadas in the mid 70s to early 80s

Looks special on your car

My red car still has the red hose, too. I never had any of the problems I have heard about. If it works, don't fix it!
