Freescan Software & Manual Download

My trusty old Dell XP machine has a duff battery now so I tried to upload Freescan on a Win 10 machine but I can't get it to load. Any tips for loading it onto a modern machine?

v2.1 installs fine on windows 10.

Are you sure you have not got your app settings set to install only from microsoft store? That would stop it installing

Settings - Apps - Apps & Features - Choose where to get Apps -  Set to Anywhere

Mmm I don't seem to have the option of Apps or Apps & Features on my settings menu?

 

(I managed to get the old Dell fired up!)

If you can't find it directly in settings it must be hidden for some reason. 

If you type   Apps & Features  in the search field in the task bar at the bottom of the screen, it should come up with a link to the settings Apps & Features page.

Found it. It was set to "Anywhere" already so not that then.
