alternator dead

just took her out after 6 month winter, she started ok but didn't last long, lose of power and verified voltage doing down till dead. No voltage from alternator, any easy way to remove it would be appreciated.

It's only a couple of bolts, even I can do this! Undo the tensioner bolt being careful not to lose the other end of this to the undertray, it just slides up/down (and out) of the nylon guide. Undo the pivot bolts on the stud and push the stud out towards the rear of the car. There are 2 connectors, one is straight to the battery so disconnect the battery before you start for safety then you can remove this and there's a small wire to the dashboard telltale too which needs to come off. Once you've undone the bolts etc a little manoeuvring past the plenum and you're done
