Goodwood Moving Motor Show 2011

Had a great time today. Wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much as a std FoS day, but for an antisocial old fart like me it turned out better. I dont tend to watch all that much on the hill itself, and I'm hopeless at star spotting and even worse at managing anything like conversation in their company. So a day with all of the static stuff in place (including most of the stuff in the main pits) but with no big names and less than half the people was absolutely ideal. It was easily possible to see the cars properly, not just over someone elses head, and easy to engineer a clear shot of whatever took my fancy. Even took over 200 pics of the red arrows display!

Lots of Lotus in evidence - and not just on the expected (excellent) Lotus Stand;

the Classic Team Lotus pit;

the Lotus Renault pit

and the Team Lotus Renault pit( which was shut!)

There were Tesla's on the Tag Heuer stand, an Evora S in the Supercar paddock

and was this an Elise in there too?

Nope cos it had this big V8 in the back
