'C' Service Recommendations?

Anyone care to recomend somewhere cheaper than a main dealer for a C Service?

Make the effort and try SWLC. They have good rates and have just serviced our Turbo Esprit.

I get mine done at Steve williams every two years REGARDLESS of mileage.

Sometimes it's done less than 8k miles in between C services, but i've paid

out for one engine build and am not having another i can prevent.

Also, EVERY C Service i've had done has found other work, be it the common

cam tower oil leaks, right through to a tensioner ready to fall to bits (the latter

of course would have repaid me dearly has i decided to keep the cambelt on

for an extra year to save money...).

Just thought i'd throw in this link as it's kinda related to the thread.

That's why I said 'make the effort'! Wouldn't be much of an effort if it was in the midlands!

Anyway. LEW G Turbo's just had a C-service there, so it's a recommendation!

I gues it dpends on whether you're southimidlands, mid-midlands or north-midlands!!

If you're south, there's also Esprit Engineering just outside Salisbury - Cheapest labour rate in the country iirc!
