Just received the paperwork for this, the TLF stand is in section 13 through Gate G. In case I can't make this, is anyone going for all 3 days who can fly the TLF flag, put up some tents etc? 2 free 3 day tickets/car pass on offer?

Hi,

At the moment I have the following three day tickets for the Silverstone Classic weekend - Friday 20th July - Sunday 22nd July.

2 Adult & 1 Child ( 6 - 16 y/o )

These allow access into the show & concerts on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

I have these spare due to people dropping out. At the moment advance tickets for adults are £95.00 + booking fee or £ 125.00 on the day & £ 10 for children.

I bought these using bogof offer, just looking to re-coup what they cost us so £ 100.00 for all three which is a really good saving.

Anyone interested can PM me or drop me an email at philip.blackburn@gas-elec.co.uk. Would be ideal for anyone in North East to collect or meet up or could accept Paypal payment & post recorded delivery at cost ?

Cheers, Phil.

Hi, did anyone stay at Whittlebury camp site for the F1 ? If so, what was it like ? We've stayed for the last few years but never when the weather has been like this, just wondered what the ground was like, most of it is sloping so I'm hoping it will drain ok. Noticed Litchlake Farm has closed due to the weather !

Bibs - what do you need regarding putting up gazebo etc ? We're staying at Whittlebury for the 3 days, arriving sometime on Friday afternoon & leaving Sunday, weather permitting. I'm not coming in the Esprit as I can't fit four people & camping equipement in it !!so will be walking in from campsite but I'm happy to help if I can. Where will the gazebo & flags be ?

Let me know if your stuck.

Phil.

Well I have to say it was very quiet on the Lotus Forums area car wise on Saturday and Sunday. In fact I was all on my own apart from a brief visit from Mark on Sunday morning who decided the mud was a bit to deep !

Anyway there was quite a bit of interest in my car as people wandered through and the mud had all but dried up by Sunday lunchtime. The Club Lotus area on Saturday was very impressive covering the entire slope beside the parade lap area of the track.

There was definitely quite a bit to see and do, so I suspect I'll go again next year.

Yes the Historic club lotus, Lotus Drivers Club and Club Lotus all made the move to here as the ground where we should have been was a off road course.
