V8 fuel line connector help needed

I am re-plumbing the fuel lines from the tank to the fuel rails to the filter and am unable to find the right name for the types of connectors used so that I may purchase fittings and braided fuel line. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know the V8, but are your fittings like this?

That is called a double flare

or are you talking about this part?

If so I suppose you could use something like this to connect the hard lines and make new flexy sections using all AN-6 fittings.

What are the ID and OD of the nipple end? I wonder if you couldn't turn down one end of a male-to-male adapter...
